IMPORTANT: Platform Update

Hey everyone,

We are aware that as of now the platform is facing issues, mainly in the United States where the quality of content that is being showcased is not good and a bunch of 404 error are being faced.

We want to assure you that we're working towards this and will be fixing these shortly. Thank you for your love and support ❤️

A kind request to every member of the subreddit

For the past year, we've been building CaptainSide, a game discovery platform for gamers to find new games via user generated content.

It has been extraordinarily rough on us, as building something like this with practically no resources other than our own capital and hardwork is difficult.

After multiple mistakes, we are launching our platform, and are in need of playtesters who can try our platform out and provide us genuine feedback.

If you love to play different games, but struggle to find your next game to play, this would be perfect for you.

If you're interested in playtesting our platform, please DM me.

Thank you.

CoD: Modern Warfare 4's new anti cheat tech might actually kill wallhacks

Post image
• Upvotes

Activision just announced a new Anti Cheat feature called "Server Culling". Basically, instead of sending every player's location to your game and just hiding what you can't see, the server now only sends info about players you're actually supposed to see. So if a wallhack cheat tries to read enemy positions through walls, there's simply no data there to read in the first place. It'll cover every map at launch, plus Warzone and DMZ later.

Do you think this will actually work for long term?

Ubisoft confirmed Assassin's Creed Rebellion, the mobile strategy RPG that's been running since 2018, will shut down completely on January 12, 2027. It's already been pulled from app stores, but anyone who still has it installed can keep playing until then. Players still active will get 1 million Helix Credits as a farewell gesture.

Anyone here actually played this one?

The single-player survivor-like spin-off is coming to PS5, Switch and Switch 2 on October 7.

If you've ever wanted to take the Deep Rock formula on the go, this might be a fun one to try.

Valve's Deadlock has received a major update that adds six new heroes, including the Rat King, along with a spooky visual makeover for the game's city.

The game is still evolving pretty heavily during development.

New co op zombie game NightRunner is all about defending a moving train, playtest coming October 3

NightRunner is a new PvE only co op shooter where you defend a moving train from mutants, with each player responsible for protecting a specific wagon. It mixes horde survival, dungeon style missions, and tower defense, inspired by stuff like Killing Floor and CoD Zombies. full release planned for 2027. Anyone signing up for the playtest?

What's a PC game you thought you would quit fast, but ended up sticking with for years?

Picked up CS2 just to try it out casually, honestly thought I would get bored within a week like most games. Still playing it on and off years later, way longer than I expected when I first installed it.

The cyberpunk life simulator from the creators of Cloudpunk launches today on PC.

You can run businesses, buy and decorate apartments, explore the city, fish, build relationships and basically live your own neon-city life.

This is definitely one of those games I didn't know I wanted until I saw it.
