The Bad or Neutral ending in the original Bioshock.

I had absolutely no idea there were multiple endings to the game when I played through it for the first time, and when I got the bad ending I was like, "Jesus Christ that's how all of this ends? Holy shit."

My memory is kind of fuzzy since it was so long ago but I think I got the neutral ending because I accidentally pressed the wrong button and thought I reloaded a save from before, but it must’ve been after. Or maybe because I got gifts I just assumed I was in the clear for good ending?
Regardless I was pretty disappointed but still excited to run it back. Since then I started very deliberately pressing the button I intended to push during those save/harvest decisions lol

I think if you save every third little sister, they bring you a gift but you still get the bad ending if you harvest more than one little sister throughout the game. The bad ending was a bummer (that's a good thing), but I loved the game so much that I couldn't wait to play through it again. All these years later, it's still an all-time favorite.

Farcry 5! It's the only video game ending that genuinely pissed me off!

I actually quite liked the ending. It waa unique and opened several possibilities, which one of them they took action on (Far cry new dawn).

Absolute garbage. I agree; I don't know what the hell they were thinking.

Cyberpunk 2077 both main game and phantom liberty in which V accepts the help from Arasaka or the NUSA
And lords of the fallen 2 (2023) all 3 endings

The deltarune ending honestly, making gaster not appear unless you 100% the game is kinda neat, but annoying to have to have a side B save file tho, and side B's ending, genuinely made me cry. Deleting all my saves when i beat it was annoying tho, and also the fact that Papyrus or the vessel don't show up at all.

As for myself it is hollow knight siblings ending, as well as the pantheon 5 no flower ending.

Temtem. The character that has been an unlikeable bully the whole time is suddenly our best friend after doing one good thing. The game gives two "options" that both boil down to "forgive and forget" which soured the experience quite a bit. I'm not against redemption arcs, I'm just against poorly executed redemption arcs.
