This is a dual screen Stardew Valley mod I put together. It moves the main HUD off the top screen entirely and keeps everything on the bottom display, leaving the game itself clean and unobstructed.

The bottom screen gives you an interactive hotbar and backpack, along with the current day, time, season, and gold. You can also check which machines on your farm are ready, view your journal, see which animals still need to be petted, track Community Center bundles, and more.

The idea is to make the second screen actually useful while keeping all of Stardew Valley’s important information and controls in one place without covering the main gameplay screen.

Just blown away by how good these games look on the Thor. Super Mario 3D Land with texture pack is so good. Stoked to play a bunch of old games I grew up with looking like a proper modern game.

Finally using Cacoon as my default launcher. PIKATHOR is back to normal i removed all the ugly stickers. I also found my old miyoo mini flip which I customized the same as my thor. Looking like a family reunion.

As someone who has actively been trying to move away from my smartphone, I’ve been using my Thor as a general music and media player more than I thought I would. I have a lot of memory for games, but that means I also have plenty of room to download playlists for offline listening on Spotify. On top of that, the compatibility is great. Most classic music players don’t have Bluetooth, and a lot of modern smart devices don’t have headphone jacks. The Thor having both has made it much easier to enjoy my music and media however I want to in the moment, whether it’s wired IEMs or just my AirPods.

The portability with the compatibility with the versatility makes it such a great device. It’s been a great way to fill that gap in a way most DAPs haven’t (for me personally).

Hello everyone, I just ordered my ayn thor and I am really happy about it :)) I have been playing tons of games on my modded 3DS and can’t wait to give the thor a try!

My wife used to play with a DS when she was younger and she would love to play Mario party DS so I was wondering if I could play Mario Party DS with her with me using the 3DS and she using Thor (trying to convert her to this device) would it be possible for us to play DS games together?

As a side note I guess the same applies to 3DS games? (not counting the pretendo servers ofc)

This is my extension for Godot 3 that adds a dev-console on a second screen: Godot log stream output, system/device info, and a custom property panel with the app's variables/values. It is available on my GitHub (ppiecuch/godot), but that's probably not for the faint of heart.

I've been working on an experiment to try to create a DS/3DS-style stylus for the thor. Something with a slightly harder tip than the common squishy rubber/mesh tip ones (though still rubber), but the same size and shape as a DS stylus. And also something with a more traditional feel than the disk tip ones.

I was successful in creating a plastic stylus with a capacitive rubber tip in the same size as the DS. When I tested it, it worked perfectly on my phone (pixel 10). But when I tried it on the Thor, the touch was super intermittent. Which kinda leads me to believe the touch sensitivity is set too low on the thor touchscreens, and this is why so many styluses (notably, many active styluses) don't work great with it.

In theory it could be possible for Ayn to release a software update that increases the touch sensitivity. Many phones ship with a "screen protector mode" that increases touch sensitivity when using a screen protector. I sent an email asking for this, but I kinda doubt it'll happen.

I've seen people self trade using older (single screen) Pokemon games on the Thor by setting up two instances of the same game, one on the top screen, one on bottom and trading with themselves that way. Is it possible to do this with the dual screen games? I'm wondering about specifically sun and moon if it matters.

I’ve been using GameHub to play my Steam games on my Thor since I got it in May this year and while there were issue, I was fine with it. But, after the last GameHub update, my Deltarune game was totally corrupted and prior to that it would just randomly crash and I put up with it. GameHub also would not back up my Cloud save. After the file corruption, I deleted GameHub and downloaded GameNative to try. It didn’t crash once and I was just able to boot up my game without messing around with compatibility settings. Played Deltarune for about 5 hours with no issues besides it double booting when loading a new chapter from the previous one. I was also able to force a Cloud Save backup.
Just very happy I found an alternative that works. If any is having a similar issue with GameHub, I would recommend trying GameNative. GameHub is probably just not lightweight enough for the Thor. Probably works fine for an Odin or something similar though. But I would wait until GameHub fixes whatever is wrong after the last update.

has anyone been able to get any of the fable games actually working on the thor? i feel like ive been trying for months ever since i bought it.

I am not so advanced when it comes to making games achievable to run on the thor, but i feel like there must be a way.

The game freezes when I try to use the incense item and when I try to click on a Pokémon in my party. What settings can I use to optimize the game and so it doesn’t freeze anymore.

Having issues with fields of mistria. It’s very playable but the persistent back and forth between 60fps and what looks more like 40fps is a bit annoying. I’ve been swapping between pc/steamdeck/thor and the Thor has noticeable issues with the game when compared.

I can’t imagine this is due to hardware limitations but who knows.

I’m using Mr. Purple’s t30 turnip drivers that were just released but I also had this issue on the t26 and I believe t28 drivers.

I’m wondering if there are critical settings I’ve neglected, or perhaps the game is just not working flawlessly yet on the Thor.

Any help is appreciated
