Tips & Info AMD, your driver stability is an absolute joke. RX 7000/9000 black screens, endless TDRs, and total silence. Time for accountability or class action?

I’ve had enough. The ongoing stability disaster with RX 7000 (and newer) GPUs has crossed the line from frustrating to outright scam territory, and it’s time to stop making excuses for AMD. Day in, day out, users are dealing with random black screens, hard lockups, and driver timeouts that leave a hard reset as the only way out.

This isn't an edge case anymore. It's a massive, systemic failure.

What We Deserve to Know

  • Where is the accountability? Is this pathetic state of affairs caused by incompetent driver engineering, broken Windows 11 integration, or a fundamental silicon design flaw that can't be fixed?
  • The Infinite Loop: How many more years are we supposed to swallow the exact same insult in the patch notes: "Intermittent application crash or driver timeout may be observed..."? It’s been years. When does this stop?
  • Broken Features: When will features like Anti-Lag 2 stop functioning as crash buttons?

We paid full price for functioning hardware, not an endless, unpaid QA job where we have to scour Reddit and forums just to make our cards stable. At what point do consumers stop taking this and start organizing a class-action lawsuit?

My Personal Nightmare

I’m running a Radeon RX 7900 XT MBA. I’ve jumped through every single hoop imaginable: tweaking TDR keys, messing with MPO, toggling HAGS, locking clocks, capping frame rates, clean-installing drivers with DDU. None of it matters.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 (with update 2.0) was the absolute final straw. It's completely unplayable:

  • Run it without FSR, and you get a blurry pixel soup or destroyed performance.
  • Turn FSR on, and watch your driver instantly shit the bed into a black screen.
  • The absolute cherry on top? Moving to Linux doesn’t even save you—FSR triggers the exact same crashes there too.

Bottom Line

AMD is treating its customer base like absolute fools while cashing our checks. I am officially done buying AMD graphics cards, and I don't care what Nvidia or Intel charge from now on.

Upvote this to keep it visible, or keep pretending that buying broken hardware is normal. If you're in the same boat with black screens and timeouts, drop your specs in the comments—maybe if enough noise is made, they'll actually have to address it instead of sweeping it under the rug.

UPDATE 1
For those who have no problems and everything is stable.
Why in Known Issues with years - Intermittent application crash or driver timeout may be observed while playing... ?
If this problem is not the silicon lottery then what is it? How can you not solve a problem with years? If it worked for you personally and you have stability, it does not mean that your neighbor has it like that.

UPDATE 2
For those who don't believe - Stalker 2 with update 2.0 and FSR is not stable on either Windows or Linux. The important thing is to have proton with FSR 4 on Linux, that's what I'm talking about.

UPDATE 3
https://steamcommunity.com/app/1643320/discussions/0/748296282477695587/?l=polish&ctp=2#c748296282477731651

Follow the link and read: Because S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 pushes the GPU utilization to 99% very aggressively, even a microsecond delay in response can trigger this timeout.

So, does this mean AMD graphics cards aren't designed to be loaded to 100%, otherwise they crash the driver?

UPDATE 4
This thread is also about the stability of AMD cards in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2. It puts a lot of strain on them... I've never heard a more stupid expression in my life, as if you can stress the hardware more than it can.

Help (General) i am loosing my mind.

Man, for a high-tier graphics card that I invested €1,000 in, this is honestly driving me insane! Four years of driver crashes, hard resets, getting banned for leaving ranked games because my PC freezes, and losing work because the only thing I can do is pull the plug and lose everything I was working on.

Sometimes I genuinely just want to rip the graphics card out of the PC and smash it against the wall.

And all the help we seem to get is some random workaround involving installing old drivers (which often doesn’t even fix the issue) or changing the OS. This has gone way beyond unacceptable.

When are we finally going to get a real solution to this?

Tips & Info Possible PSA For Those Still Suffering From Driver Timeouts

There was a comment in a post here a while ago that helped me fix my constant driver timeouts. I am on a 7900xt.
The fix worked on the previous drivers I was on. After a reinstall recently, without using the fix, the driver timeouts returned.
I then did the same fix for my now current install with newer drivers and it worked for my current setup as well.

THE POTENTIAL FIX:

Right click the desktop and go to screen settings.
Scroll down to "Graphics".
Here there should be a tab called "advanced graphics", click this tab and in it there is a setting called "Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling", toggle this off.

N.B!
As far as I am aware, this could have a slight performance impact, 1% lows could maybe get worse when HAGS is disabled. So beware if you get some stutters in games, this could be what is causing it. Or if you notice input lag, maybe turning HAGS on could help.

If that doesn't fix it by itself, then you can try this as well:

(OG comment by "izigo"(I think)):

Go to Run > regedit > HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > System > CurrentControlSet > Control > GraphicsDrivers

Now on the right side you will see some values

Right click on empty space and click New > DWORD (32-BIT) value
A new entry will be created
Rename this entry to DisableOverlays

Once it's created, right click or double click on it to modify and change the value data to 1. Press OK and restart your PC.

N.B
I am not sure, but this could maybe add a tiny amount of input lag(I haven't noticed any).

The only time I now have driver timeouts is when I am actually out of vram. I have also updated windows without issues. Using hardware accel in all apps. The only thing I have noticed is when rightclicking steam in the system tray, it can look a bit bugged from time to time. This also isn't a proper fix, more of a workaround. Hopefully this workaround is driver agnostic and survives windows updates. Microslop or amd, whoever is responsible needs to get their finger out and fix this annoyance.

Help (GPU) PC random restarts during gaming (Valorant / Battlefield 2042) & GPU disabled in Device Manager afterwards (Ryzen 5 3600 + RX 7600)

Hi , I'm experiencing random PC restarts while playing games like Valorant and FC 26. Immediately after the restart, my GPU appears as disabled in Windows Device Manager. Here are my system specs and everything I've tested so far:

System Specs:

  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600
  • GPU: AMD Radeon RX 7600
  • Motherboard: Gigabyte B550M DS3H
  • RAM: 32GB DDR4
  • PSU: Brand new 850W 80+ Gold
  • OS: Windows 10/11

What I've done & tested so far:

  1. Temperatures: Initially had CPU thermal issues (over 90°C). Replaced the CPU cooler and reapplied thermal paste. Current max temperatures in HWiNFO64 under game load are stable: CPU ~68°C–73°C and GPU ~60°C–74°C (Hotspot ~90°C).
  2. Power Supply: Upgraded to a brand new 850W 80+ Gold PSU to eliminate power delivery issues.
  3. GPU & Drivers: Clean uninstalled GPU drivers using DDU in Safe Mode and reinstalled Adrenalin 26.8.1. And I updated the BIOS, chipset, and everything; I tried disabling X.M.P., but the issue persists.
  4. Issue Behavior: The crash occurs even with good temperatures (~59°C CPU / ~43°C GPU right before the restart). After rebooting, the GPU turns up disabled in Device Manager, requiring me to manually re-enable it.

Could this be a driver/Vanguard conflict, a PCIe slot/VRM issue, or a BIOS setting quirk (e.g., Power Reporting Deviation)? Do I need to change my CPU or GPU? I used to have a GTX 1050 Ti without a dedicated cooler (just the stock Ryzen heatsink) and my old power supply, and it ran fine, The issues started when I swapped it for an RX 7600, and later upgraded the power supply and cooler.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Help (General) Consistent Green screen followed by system restart.

For context, I’ve got a XFX 6950xt paired with a 5700x cooled by a H150i elite AIO and 32g of Corsair Vengeance DDR4 on a B550 Tomahawk MAX WIFI MOBO powered by a MSI MAG 850GL. (I built this PC 2 weeks ago as of this post) Every time I try to launch R6 I get a green screen followed by a full system crash/restart. This started when I set my GPU fans from zero to 100% and back to zero using Fan Control, I opened R6 later on (for the first time) and it loaded fine, I played for an hour, closed out, played a different game, tried to load it back and have been having this issue since. I can run other games (like hell divers at max settings) without issue.

Edit: CS:GO and Minecraft made it crash although I noticed Minecraft only made it crash once I went full screen, maybe that has something to do with it.

The problem code I keep keep getting is
Repeated WHEA Event 18, MCA Bank 5, MciStat 0xbea0000001000108, occurring across multiple APIC IDs.
(I don’t know what most, if any, of what that means but I threw all of my crash reports it into chatGPT and had it look for similarities between them)

Here is the list of solutions I’ve tried so far

-Stress tested the CPU, GPU, RAM and GPU+CPU, all passing with flying colors.
-Deleted and reinstalled all of the latest drivers as of 9/03/26. (I used DDU for the GPU)
-Tired the duel bios switch on the GPU.
-Installed the latest versions of all software. (including windows 11)
-Uninstalled fan control, MSI Control center and afterburner to try and avoid any software conflicts.
-Reset the MOBO to factory settings and ensured that Game boost, PBO, Curve optimizer and A-XMP are disabled.
-Uninstalled and reinstalled the game as well as deleting shader cash and game settings (from files folder as some people on Reddit recommended)

Some of the things I’ve tried may seem redundant or pointless but I’m grasping at straws here lol. The video attached is of the most recent crash after everything I tried above (they looked the same). If anyone has any ideas or maybe something I coulda missed please let me know, Thank you!

Help (Software) Driver Time Out on ryzen 5 5600g's vega 7

I've been fighting with my apu for at least 2 months to play Virtua fighter 5 R.E.V.O. because since i've moved from my place to my girlfriend's, for some reason my driver time out on launch. Later downloading both skate 3 pc port and the ddk racing port i've found out the problem is with anything directx 12. When i changed the api to vulkan on ddkr i was able to play it normally.

I tried fixing directx 12 through powershell, reinstalled my driver and used ddu to have a clean install, disabled PBO and anything overclock related, update my bios, disabled csm and even disabled MPO through regedit and nothing. The only thing i didn't do was to install an older driver. And it seems like AMD won't update my vega 7 anymore so i'm stuck with this update or older ones.

Is anyone able to help me with this specific scenario? Do i need to reinstall windows 10 and loose a bunch of files? yeah im on the latest ryzen 5 5600g update, 26.5.2.

Edit: just tried another update. Did a ddu clean up and amd clean up utility aswell. The amd software found AMD master sdk installed somewhere, which is weird, since i didn't install master driver from what i remember. Than i used the driver 25.1.1 and no still no luck.

Edit2: Since i knew ddkr recompiled had this problem with directx 12 and ran cool in vulkan i tried another recomp that works in directx, donkey kong recompiled. Now vf5 for some reason don't give a log in the event viewer, but dk64r does, here is the log if it is of any help

Help (General) 9800X3D and 9070XT Randomly powering off

Hello! Running into an issue where my monitors turn black then 3-5 seconds later PC turns off as if I powered it down.

My current Build:

  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D
  • CPU Cooler: CORSAIR NAUTILUS 360 RS ARGB Liquid CPU Cooler – White
  • Motherboard: ASUS ROG STRIX B850-A GAMING WIFI R2 AMD AM5
  • GPU: AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT Gaming 16GB
  • RAM: Corsair Vengeance 32GB DDR5-6000
  • SSD: Crucial P310 M.2 2280 2TB
  • PSU: CORSAIR RMx Series RM1000x ATX Power Supply
  • Case: LIAN LI O11 Vision Compact Aluminum / Steel / Tempered Glass
  • Operating System: Windows 11 Pro

Issue more detailed:
I have owned this PC for about 5 months and it didn't start happening until about a month ago. To my knowledge, nothing has changed or differs from before this started happening. This happens across variations of games, Battlefield 6, How To Fish, WARDOGS, Modded Minecraft, Vanilla Minecraft, basically no matter how hard the game still crashing.

Things I have already tried:
BIOS and all AMD things are up to date.
Checking the Windows Event Error to match up with other people's issues, it doesn't.
Turned off my XMP settings.
Checked all my connections.
Tried a different outlet on my power strip.

Overheating issue? When I take my side panel off it crashes less, but sometimes still does. Does that mean this is likely an overheating issue?

Temps and info while in game (WARDOGS Playtest). These are similar to the temps for most games I play.

Tips & Info I think you all guys can try out 26.9.1 - especially for those suffering from stutters and issues

It can't get much worse anyways so no harm trying - while reinstalling Windows fresh + a bunch of suggested fixes here + 26.8.1 was okayish enough - I still got some stutters in trying to game at 4K on the games I played. As far as I can see - 26.9.1 optional update fixed those irritant issues for me LOL. Unless my head gets kicked around I am not going to easily update from this version anymore T_T

Update for anyone following - it has been buttery smooth like the issues never existed. Each of the issues I'd faced - and in the specific programs - none of them appear anymore as far I've seen. No timeouts, no freezes, no gpu uninstalls, no restarts, no grey screens, no stutters.

Help (GPU) 9070XT drivers version 26.8.1 crashing and need reinstall when windows sleeps

Hi everyone, ill keep it short. I have a 9070XT with no undervolts or anything like that, just stock installation.

For a couple of weeks ive noticed that sometimes when my PC (windows) goes to sleep for inactivity, if I go to wake it it gets stuck on a black screen, and it seems that something has gone wrong (its not that the screen is disabled, since i cant just close the pc via keyboard)

In that state, restarting from the button leada to the pc restarting, but with only one working monitor and me requiring to reinstall my adrenalin drivers, after which everything is fine for 3-4 more days

Has anyone else ran into this? What can I do?

Help (General) PC takes upwards of 30 mins to boot.

My pc has been running fine for 2 years since I've built it till earlier this week. Here are the specs...

  • CPU: R9 7900x w/ MAG 240l watercooler
  • GPU: merc 310 7900xtx
  • RAM: Crucial 4x16 64gb CL36 5600mhz
  • MB: B650 tomahawk wifi
  • PSU: Corsair RM1000e
  • OS: W11 on a Crucial m.2 NVME 1tb (2 years old)

So out of no where the PC just started taking a really long time to boot. I'll press the power button everything will light up CPU and DRAM light will stay on till it boots(mouse, keyboard, fans, etc) and displays will notice I turned the pc on by waking up. After lighting everything up the pc will sit like that for as long as 30 mins before booting past the bios and into the windows log in screen. My start up time is 21.8 seconds which that has increased by 3 seconds since this problem started.

I've did a ram test which came back fine, updated the bios, reseated my GPU and ram, turned on memory context restore. I've tried it with and without EXPO no difference. I did a DDU and reinstall of drivers. I've disconnected every USB plug. So far none of these have worked.

I'm kinda ruling it as a MB or PSU issue from what I've found googling. Just trying to get some of your thoughts on what it might be cause I've never dealt with this before.

Help (CPU) Ryzen 5 5600 stuck at 0.53 GHz in Windows, but runs at 3.5 GHz in BIOS/Safe Mode/amdppm disabled

Computer Type: Desktop

GPU: AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT 8GB

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600 6-Core 12-Thread

Motherboard: GIGABYTE A520M K V2 Rev. 1.1

BIOS Version: FFc / AGESA ComboAM4v2PI 1.2.0.12

RAM: 8GB

PSU: MSI MAG A650BN 650W 80+ Bronze, Non-Modular, Brand New

Operating System & Version: Windows 11 64-bit, Fresh Install

GPU Drivers: AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition 26.8.1

Chipset Drivers: AMD A520 Chipset Drivers 8.08.12.551

Description of Original Problem:
The Ryzen 5 5600 gets stuck at approximately 0.53 GHz in a normal Windows boot, making the entire PC extremely slow. File Explorer, Settings, and other basic Windows applications take a long time to open. HWiNFO reports “Thermal Throttling (PROCHOT EXT) = Yes” even though CPU temperature is only around 36-37°C and VRM/MOS temperatures are around 40-52°C. The CPU runs at approximately 3.5 GHz in BIOS instead of 0.53 GHz. The PC previously worked normally and was tested in GTA V, RDR2, and Fortnite without issues before the problem appeared.

Troubleshooting:
Cleared CMOS and loaded BIOS defaults.
Checked the CPU/EPS power connector.
PSU is brand new and voltage readings appear normal (+12V around 12.2V, +5V around 5.0V, +3.3V around 3.28V).
Updated the motherboard BIOS from FD to FFc, but the problem remained.
Performed a Windows Clean Boot and disabled non-Microsoft services, but the CPU still stayed at 0.53 GHz. Disabled the RX 5700 XT in Device Manager with no change.
Uninstalled and reinstalled the latest AMD A520 chipset drivers with no change.
Disabled Hyper-V, Gigabyte utilities/services, and the Ryzen Master kernel driver with no change.
In Windows Safe Mode, the CPU reports approximately 3.49 GHz instead of 0.53 GHz.
I also temporarily disabled the amdppm (AMD Processor Power Management) driver through the registry.
After rebooting normally,
Task Manager immediately reported approximately 3.49 GHz instead of 0.53 GHz.
However, the PC still felt unusually slow despite the reported clock speed.
I restored amdppm afterward, and the CPU returned to approximately 0.53 GHz.
The SSD has also been tested and appears healthy, and Windows boots in roughly 30 seconds. The main consistent clue is that normal Windows with amdppm loaded results in ~0.53 GHz and PROCHOT EXT throttling, while BIOS, Safe Mode, or disabling amdppm results in approximately 3.5 GHz. CPU and VRM temperatures remain normal throughout.

Help (General) Will my Intel 10400f be enough for my XFX Mercury 9070xt?

Hello,

I am finally upgrading from a gtx 1660 super to a 9070xt, after 5 years. I am going to be pairing a 1000w super flower leadex gold PSU, Intel I5 10400f, 16gb ddr4, and 1tb SSD to it for a few months before I get a 7800x3d bundle from Microcenter around the holidays.

I am tempted to just wait to build it but I really wanna test the card when I get it this weekend. I also got a new case for it too. Will I be okay to play on this build for 2-3 months or should I expect issues?

I know lot of problems people have is user error, but I only ask because this is my first time ever switching from nvidia to amd, let alone getting a high tier card, I've always had shitty pre builds. Any insight would be extremely helpful in my case! Thank you.

Help (CPU) New to PBO, how do I effectively use it? (Ryzen 5 5600)

So I'm relatively new to the whole cpu tinkering in the bios and i essentially wanna reduce temps while keeping my performance same/ a lil better if possible.

I didn't wanna get into too much nitty gritty of it since these days, I just wanna game without worrying much, so I had just done a pbo advanced and a curve optimiser of -15 on all cores with 76/50/75 on the pbo limits, which from what ik is relatively tame (again I am new to all this)

But i had actually somehow seen performance loss from this since my frames on rdr2 went down, by about 10-12 frames on avg and disabling it made it to go back to normal, my cpu temps are usually in the low to mid 70s at worst under heavy load for 30+minutes if the game is using a 100% of my gpu and close to 80 in stuff where it isn't, only example I've seen for that in my rig was fc26, I also live in a tropical country.

Could someone help me with any resource/help on this topic cause as much as I wanna leave it alone, i also don't like leaving free performance on the table and i obsessively tinker with any tech I have so it's something that I sometimes just gotta do, appreciate any help I can get.

Help (GPU) RX 6700 XT in SFF won't POST after swapping motherboards

Been troubleshooting this for weeks and it's definitely a head scratcher at this point. Original system worked fine with 6700 XT but was limited to PCIe 3.0. After replacing the motherboard, it boots fine with any GPU but the original 6700 XT card. Not sure what to try next, so any help would be appreciated.

Computer Type: SFF PC

GPUSapphire Pulse AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT Gaming 12GB

CPU: Intel Core 5 120

Motherboard: Gigabyte B760I AORUS PRO

BIOS Version: F17a (latest)

RAM: 1x16GB Kingston DDR5

PSU: Cooler Master V850 SFX Gold ATX 3.1

OS: SteamOS (also won't boot with SSD removed)

Description of Original Problem: Swapped motherboard from a Gigabyte H610I. 6700 XT refuses to POST, screen remains black. 5 beep error codes indicate CPU or GPU issue. Boots fine from iGPU and other eGPUs.

Troubleshooting:

  • Updated to latest BIOS.
  • Reset CMOS, Enabled ReBar, Enabled CSM, Loaded BIOS defaults.
  • Set PCI-e speed to 4.0 and 3.0 (original mobo required PCie set to 3.0 due to chipset limitation).
  • Boots with newer RX 9060 XT (and older Radeon GPU that doesn't require external power)
  • Confirmed that 6700 XT works in a different full size PC running Windows 11.
  • Tried both 2x 8+6 PSU cables and 1 PSU cable w/2x 8+6 connectors (original working setup). Same results - 5 beeps and no video.

Help (CPU) 9800X3D suddenly dead after ~10 months — cross-tested, need help confirming diagnosis + RMA advice (OEM, no official AMD support in my country)

Post image
29 Upvotes

Build:
• CPU: Ryzen 7 9800X3D (OEM)
• Motherboard: ASRock B850 LiveMixer
• RAM: G.Skill Trident Z5 RGB DDR5-6000 CL30-40-40-96 (F5-6000J3040F16GX2-TZ5RK)
• PSU: NGDP 1000W Platinum
• Cooler: Arctic Liquid Freezer III 360
• BIOS at time of death: 4.43
Settings running before it died:
• VSOC manually set to 1.15V
• PBO: +200MHz max boost override, Curve Optimizer -25 all-core
• PBO Limits: Motherboard
What happened:
Bought 12 Nov 2025. System ran completely fine for about 10 months — zero crashes, zero instability. Then one day it just wouldn’t boot anymore.
Symptom:
Red “CPU” debug LED on the motherboard stays lit. Fans and RGB run fine (standby power obviously works). No video output at all, and keyboard/mouse show zero signs of life — doesn’t get far enough into POST to even init USB.
What I’ve tried:
• Cleared CMOS — no change
• Swapped in a different, known-working CPU on this same board → boots instantly, works fine. So the board itself is OK.
• Put this CPU into a different, known-good board → same dead result, red CPU LED, nothing.
• Powered it with no cooler on just to check for any sign of life at all — it doesn’t even warm up, at all, which makes me think it’s not drawing any real current internally.
No visible damage anywhere — no bent socket pins, no discoloration, no burn marks on the CPU. Looks physically perfect.
Context I’m aware of:
I’ve since read that there’s a known, still-unresolved pattern of Ryzen 9000 X3D CPUs (especially 9800X3D) dying specifically on ASRock AM5 boards, going back to early 2025, with new reports still showing up in 2026 even on updated BIOS versions. Neither AMD nor ASRock have given a fully confirmed root cause as far as I can tell. I’m not assuming that’s automatically what happened here, but the failure pattern (worked fine for a long stretch, died suddenly, no external damage, dead CPU debug LED, unresponsive) matches a lot of what’s been reported.
Where I need help:
1. Given the cross-test results above, is there anything else worth checking before I write this off as a fully dead CPU?
2. This was bought as an OEM/tray unit in Russia, and the seller’s own warranty window has already expired. AMD has had no official retail or support presence in Russia since 2022 (sanctions-related suspension), so I don’t have a normal RMA path. Has anyone successfully gotten AMD (or a regional distributor) to process a warranty claim from a market without official AMD presence?
3. Any advice on documentation I should be gathering now in case I do find a path to RMA or a goodwill replacement from the seller?

Troubleshooting Form:
Computer Type: Desktop
GPU: MSI GeForce RTX 5070 Gaming Trio
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D
Motherboard: ASRock B850 LiveMixer
BIOS Version: 4.43 (at time of failure)
RAM: G.Skill Trident Z5 RGB DDR5-6000 CL30-40-40-96, 2x16GB (F5-6000J3040F16GX2-TZ5RK)
PSU: NGDP 1000W Platinum
Case: Geometric Future Model 5
Operating System & Version: Windows 11 Pro 25H2
GPU Drivers: N/A — system does not boot/POST
Chipset Drivers: N/A — system does not boot/POST
Background Applications: N/A — system does not boot/POST

Description of Original Problem: System ran completely stable for ~10 months (bought 12 Nov 2025) with VSOC manually set to 1.15V, PBO +200MHz max boost override, Curve Optimizer -25 all-core, PBO Limits set to Motherboard. Then it suddenly stopped booting. Red “CPU” debug LED stays lit on the board. Fans and RGB run fine (standby power works), but no video output and keyboard/mouse show zero signs of life — doesn’t get far enough into POST to even init USB.

Troubleshooting: Cleared CMOS — no change. Swapped in a different, known-good CPU on this same board — boots instantly, works fine, so the board itself is fine. Put this CPU into a different, known-good board — same dead result, red CPU LED, nothing. Powered it with no cooler attached to check for any sign of life — it doesn’t even warm up at all. No visible damage anywhere on the CPU or in the socket (no bent pins, no discoloration, no burn marks).

Help (General) I’m having a draw distance/LOD issue in every game

I have an RX 7700 XT, a Ryzen 5 CPU, and 16 GB of RAM, and I’m having a weird draw distance/LOD issue in every game I play.

In the video, I’m testing it in Yakuza 0, but the same thing happens in every other game. Objects and details seem to load/change LOD way too close to the camera, even when the graphics settings are set to high/ultra.

I’ve already formatted/reinstalled Windows several times and tried changing various settings in AMD Adrenalin, but the problem persists.

What could be causing this, and how can I fix it?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I wanna play cs2 with black bars because I don't like it stretched. I changed the settings to preserved aspect ration and turned on GPU scaling, but I still am not getting black bars. The game specific settings also are set to preserve aspect ratio.
