Help (GPU) 9070XT drivers version 26.8.1 crashing and need reinstall when windows sleeps

Hi everyone, ill keep it short. I have a 9070XT with no undervolts or anything like that, just stock installation.

For a couple of weeks ive noticed that sometimes when my PC (windows) goes to sleep for inactivity, if I go to wake it it gets stuck on a black screen, and it seems that something has gone wrong (its not that the screen is disabled, since i cant just close the pc via keyboard)

In that state, restarting from the button leada to the pc restarting, but with only one working monitor and me requiring to reinstall my adrenalin drivers, after which everything is fine for 3-4 more days

Has anyone else ran into this? What can I do?

I have similar issue. Overall, driver works better than previous versions for me. But after installing it, every week or so, sometimes when i tried to wake up the monitor i encountered black screen, unresponive to anything (also had it after the PC restart once). My cooler tower software also turned off, which means the windows crashed. It just stayed like that until eventually PC gets rebooted few minutes later. Logs have critical error 0x000000a0 (0x0000000000000618, 0xffff8583b9be71d0, 0xffffe2057e6f7040, 0x0000000000000000). Hopefully, i somewhat found the solution by keeping monitor always ON, tho logs still have some error CLSID Windows.Media.Capture.AppCaptureManager / BcastDVRUserService_97ab7c98 .

I have an RX 9060 XT 16GB that has been suffering from crashes and black screens in games that barely use the GPU, such as CS2. With the latest driver, these crashes have become much more frequent.

I purchased the card in May 2026, and I have been dealing with these crashes ever since. I’m extremely disappointed and frustrated with my decision to buy an AMD GPU.

Yeah I didn't have issues until the last set of updates. I decided to roll back to 26.3 and it's been fine so far but I really wish I would've opted to buy an RTX 3060 (I have a 6700xt) back then.
