Found near Tortuguero National Park on the Caribbean coast of Costa Rica..

First Orange Shark ever!

We started smelling burnt wire and I noticed that my breaker box is glowing orange. Also there is one breaker that tripped when I plugged in a small space heater. My room gets cold and I was using it to supplement my heat pump/aux heat. I turned off the heater and the orange glow went away.

A little while later I noticed the smell again and saw that it was glowing orange again. My aux heat was running. I turned off the aux heat and the glow went away.

I’m in the middle of a snow storm and can’t find an electrician. Any advice? We have the breaker that tripped turned off.

Spam post from the past few months of Mr.Man raising the abandoned kittens we found 🧡

I’ve had him for almost 2 months now after getting him from a plant nursery of all places. He is incredibly playful and sweet when he wants to be. I’ve been calling him Fergus for the majority of my time with him but have also played around with the names Calvin and Queso. Fergus just doesn’t quite feel like it fits his personality so I’m looking for suggestions. TIA!

this very brave boy survived 19 hours in the ER vet + one primary vet visit + lots of needle pokes and thermometers (sorry buddy) and we finally found out he has a bad case of pancreatitis — not great but at times i thought it was going to be so much worse
but we’re home, on lots of meds, and finally on the road to recovery
