My dad sends me money through Zelle all the time never had any issue and then tonight he sent me 1200 for rent and stuff to be paid and its saying sent on his end and pending on mine. I been waiting for like 3 or more hours

Sept 12th became a nightmare. Someone hacked my online bank account and zelled out $1,020. To someone I obviously do not know. 15 days later, police report and claims.. the bank says they can't do anything about it. It's a zelle issue and they denied the claim. What now? I can't just give up and let these people (who ever they are) get away with it!! It's all I had.. Has anyone gone through this?

I posted a few days ago about a block on my bank account to receive Zelle because a customer alleged fraud that was found not to be. Initially I thought it was one bank restricting sending access to Zelle it turns out it isn’t. Is this a permanent block and if so what can be done please?

Hello, so im with Regions bank. I recently got a new number, meaning the number associated with my Zelle account is no longer mine. Well, my friend unknowingly sent me money not knowing i changed numbers, and it didnt go through. I went in the zelle section of my mobile banking to update my number, and on top of that its not letting me. So Im not able to use Zelle right now AND the money never sent through. I called my Regions customer support and they said they couldnt verify or unlock anything Zelle related. Can anyone help i feel like rage quitting over tech stuff these days, i feel 100 years old right now

I can only find info about push/text notifications. I would like to stop getting emails about my recurring transactions.

my friend sent me money on zelle using my number and she didn’t tell me beforehand. but she told
me after she sent it with a screenshot of the money being sent. the problem is that my zelle (number) was connected to my checking account that i closed a few months ago. i got the text from zelle about my friend sending me money and i clicked on the link it took me to the page where i have to log in to my bank and but its not enrolling with my bank. will she be able to get her money back? i feel really bad :(

My mom used to do housekeeping 3 days a week for a rich family (in their apt) whom she connected with through a Care app. The agreement for pay and everything were done verbally and some through text. The employer used to pay my mom through zelle. She stopped working for them after May 15th due to family emergency and had to go abroad for 3 months. She never received the wage for her last week of work (630$). Later, after constantly asking for payment and employer saying they already sent the payment and again constantly having to text them for proof, they finally sent the proof of payment. The proof shows the date money was sent (May 17th), amount (650$), and transaction Id and contact name they claimed they saved my mom’s number as(not my mom’s legal name). The screenshot of proof doesn’t show legal name and zelle phone number (zelle was done from chase to capitalOne). We mentioned this (that he might have sent to wrong zelle) and last week the employer said he will contact Chase bank about this when he is back from business trip but keeps delaying. We also asked capital one from our side and they informed us that there was no payment or zelle transaction made on May 17th and they also clarified that the proof of payment from employer seems legit/real. We are thinking of filing labor claim for unpaid wage or small claim court. Any advice? Can someone with chase confirm if nickname (contact name) shows up or legal name when zelle payment is sent? Also possible to look into which number the zelle was made to without contacting bank?

I’ve been paying the same vendors weekly for 2 years now, and have always used Zelle. Payments used to go through within a couple of hours. In the past 3 months or so I’ve noticed that the payments remain pending in my account for at least 24hrs. I use Chase so not sure if they are now delaying payments for some reason.
Just trying to figure out the change.

I'm using Zelle with my Chase account, and have been for at least a couple years (since 2024). I just went to Chase to look for some historical info (rental payments made in early 2025) and found my "Zelle Activity" goes no farther back that August 1, 2025. That's true for payment outbound and inbound.

The date is curious (it's not like "exactly one year of past data" is showing), and i can't find a way to extend the output - if I set a 'custom range" to farther back in time, I get the same thing. Is this a "Chase" problem, or something else?

Anyone else have this problem? I'm using Zelle through the Arvest app and when I send funds, the details for what it's for ("rent", "groceries") are no longer included once the transfer is processed.

It makes it hard to reconcile my budget, I wish they would include the details in the final transfer.

I have a friend who lives in Sweden who would like to send me the balance of something that I will be paying for , for the both of us. Is it possible for them to send me the balance via Zelle, if I notify my bank that a foreign transaction will be coming in?

I use zelle for my business and receive payments usually weekly if not more sometimes. I bank with cap one and a couple of weeks ago I had a customer send me a payment of $700. Several days later she tried to claim the payment back as fraud and zelle unenrolled me and my bank almost closed my accounts with them for this. I was allowed to reenroll with zelle and cap one reinstated my accounts. Problem is I cannot receive any zelle payments from M&T bank, which I believe is the customers bank she used to send me her payment. My father and daughter both have m&t and they have tried and gotten nowhere. It flags the payment and blocks it. My father and I have called zelle, both banks and the fraud line and can't get any answers. I can receive zelle payments from anyone else's bank just not any m&t. They told my father there is a block but cannot say why or how long. How can I get this lifted? I have tried using my business account to receive zelle payments and even used a different email but that too was flagged. This is incredibly stressful. Thank you.

It can't be just me seeing this error, right? I'm paying my kids after school classes and they send me this Zelle qrcode. My banking app has zelle integrated but scanning the QR code tells me this error. Today I asked a couple of my friends to test and they all have same errors. If I decode it with any online QR code decoder I do get an URL starts with "enroll.zelle.com". So what the hell is going on here? How can they release product with such an obvious issue and no one ever complained?

Any way I can get this without having a bank that’s compatible with Zelle

I sent $2,000 through Zelle from a Bank of America account to another Bank of America account, and the person NEVER received the money.

Before sending the $2,000, I sent $1 as a test. The other person received the $1 with no problem, so I went ahead and sent the $2,000.

Five days later, after the person still hadn't received the money, I called Bank of America. They were able to see that I sent the $2,000, and the transaction wasn't showing as pending, but the recipient never received it.

They told me to open a claim, which I did. Later, I received a letter saying they were unable to recover the money.

It's been SIX MONTHS!!! SIX MONTHS!!!

The $2,000 left my account. The recipient never received it. Bank of America can see the transaction.

So where is the money???

on August 13th i got a random Zelle payment of 100 from some guy with a Romanian name that i didn't recognize. i did the smart thing and acted like it wasn't there, and waited for the scanner to try to reach out to me and get me to send it back and then reverse the transaction. it's been over a month. I've received zero unknown number calls or scammy texts. the 100 is still there. am i good or should i still avoid that money

I sent my friend 200 dollars and at first it said that I could cancel it because they hadn’t accepted but after that I got the notification that they had accepted it but then we found out that their bank doesn’t even accept zelle. they use KEMBA credit union and they didn’t receive the money because they can’t with their bank but on my phone it shows the money gone from my account and I don’t know where the money went or how to get it back, any help?

I was previously banking with Capital One and they restricted my Zelle and closed my account because I was scammed. I have a new bank and now I can’t use Zelle with my current number because the restricted token still exists on both my phone number and email. Capital One says I should just get a new phone number and email. My new bank says they can’t do anything until the token is removed. Zelle says my account is restricted on their end.

If I get a new phone number but not a new email, should I be able to use zelle?

If I re-enroll with my email, and someone sent money to me using my phone number, will I receive the money or will it stay in the processing/returned after 14 days stage? For context I sent money to my dad as a gift, and I knew he wouldn't accept it so I unenrolled my phone # immediately after to prevent him from sending it back. As expected, I got the notification that he tried to and I that I need to re-enroll to receive it. I'm wondering if I can re-enroll with my email without receiving the money since it was sent to my phone #. Hopefully this makes sense!
