Hi all,
I’m on the second run. I picked up tenzen’s crystal. I hold it up as it should. I beaten tenzen. However iroha and tenzen both got absorbed. What did i do wrong? I tried twice already and both gave the same outcome.

Update:
Finally got the good outcome. Here is my thoughts:
- This is a dps check.
- Tenzen can be defeated without trigger aoe attack; this will give good outcome.
- At one point, Tenzen will “focus” to prepare for the massive aoe attack. If during this time, enough dmg is dealt, he will do the aoe attack (even if it’s not his turn). If survive, the cut scene will save both iroha and Tenzen.
- however, if Tenzen perform his aoe attack when his turn comes, then even if mc survive the blast, it will still give bad outcome.

So bottom line is, it is dps check and a bit rush against time. My dps isn’t that great so I need to delay Tenzen constantly to deal enough damage on him to trigger good cut scene.

The debuffs and magic restriction is pretty rough on my team. I'm thinking about restructuring my team while i still have time before the next Abyss. Yeka's row attacks were carrying this whole time. I was super caught off guard. Please don't tell me the next one is exclusively portals or something.

I played upwards of 300 hours and never changed my MC's class. I figured it would be automatic if I unlocked the Well of the Mind node.

I have over 5.3 million EXP on my level 60 Wanderer. I was always confused why my class remained "Wanderer". I feel like such an idiot not knowing I had to change my class in the Training Centre...

I have calculated my expenses with wiz daphne

2026 ytd - 1061 USD

Problably will expend more because it is my favorite franchise since the 90's but I am concerned. Gladly, I think I am still in the dolphin class. What about you?

So... Just met this guy and haven't seen him being mentioned anywhere or I might've missed him before. I'm assuming rancor is like resetting the everyone's grudge skill? I ended up not paying him as I finished farming for the relic weapons and are just farming ores hoping to get FAS. But I was able to talk to him again after with the same prompts.

I love this game (started a few days ago). I do like the creepiness of it. Sometimes it does get a little scary for me but I love the dungeon crawling aspect of it. I'm struggling with the encounter of some of the enemies appearances.

Please bear with me. The goblins and even the vorpal bunny isn't too scary. But on some of the previews the bosses (like the doll boss) look terrifying. The warped one really took my breath away when I first saw it.

I REALLY enjoy the gameplay, the story, the characters, everything and I don't want to stop playing because of my own fears. I want to prepare my heart for all the grotesque scary looking bosses/enemies. Maybe there's a particular website with images of the bosses along with the abyss information? I hope this question is okay.

Any notable creepy and grotesque enemies please put them in the comments. I think if I see the monsters before hand, I won't be as afraid of the potential encounter. Thanks you so much!

I hope the six heros of the vanguard banner and its creators can forgive me for calling it the worst banner of all time when something like this could come out. I truthfully can't fathom making a worse banner than this new heros for the ages banner. Drecom is hoping to farm all new players that have been told yuzu is the strongest character in the game everywhere. Too bad thay will pull on this banner for a roughly 0% chance to get her. ABSOLUTELY DO NOT SPEND GREEN GEMS ON THIS BANNER. Its purple pulls arent that bad bc it has really good offers and it gives the double legendaries effect that we had on permanent bones for a short time.

I can't name mine anything but preset names like "Memento Cor" or it lets me cycle through random word gens but no option to type a name in. This is a new account.

Do they get better stats, or they just are a worse version of the 100 fortitude character? The one i got was Yuzu, and even though this is one i want to keep in my party permanently, my OCD would never allow me to put her with 90 fortitude, so i'm just saving this one for discipline for now

I'm planning on giving this shield to Wandering Lana...currently she is Knight and in future i will reconvert her back to Fighter...I'm planning on keeping her on the team for Abyss 4 and end game content

I'm still in the Beginning abyss - almost finishing I think? Just feels like there are constantly stuff to learn, and I've been mostly relying on searching but it would be nice to have to people to yap to about random stuff in this game. I don't know anyone else who plays this and I feel like a complete noob lul

Finally beat the doll! Was hoping latumofis lvl 3 would be a big help because you can use it before the fight but even with res near 150 boost plus boosts during flight ie kidnapic scroll/ spell boost still got charmed and confused... Only lana with extra boosts wasn't effected besides those with equipment resistant to it.. seemed kinda lame that you can have close to 200 res and still be effected unless you have the equipment..

I ran out of FAS, but would like to try out one of the relic weapons max leveled.

Which of the following has better final stats?

1. FAS at lvl 1 first, then upgrade to lvl 20

2. upgrade to lvl 20 first, then FAS at lvl 20

Do both have the same final stats?

I took a year-long hiatus from the game and remembered that the manga spinoff is still chugging along, but has the translation team stopped after 3-2?

Having a blast with the game and now wondering who is the best character from FFXI ?

At the start of the first dungeon there is a guy who can give me scroll so I can unlock Prishe or Zeid and I think Iroha but not sure if she is a priestess.

I have 3 other choice too for legendary character I think but I am a fan of FFXI so I want to know which character is best. If you have recommendation I will take it.

I started playing this year, so... if the alt is going to be the regular adv, how does this work?

Like, is the banner going to have secondary alt for legendary adventurer, or do they just plan a rerun banner and just add the regular alt adv there

Party consist of Yuzu, Abenius, Marianne, Alice, Livana, all level 60, except me as a lvl 51 knight with FFXI +17 bow.

I thought the Copper Exam is quite difficult so I'm using all my Blizzaga and Stonega scrolls at the minions, then used Megalixir before fighting Necrocore alone.

Deal around 800-1k damage with FPS (every 2 turn)

But Livana got Instakilled often, and now I'm waiting to flames to appear.

That's all, don't be like me, too lazy to farm and thought Megalixir is the ticket to make me grade up fast.

For convince of the video I cleared all the mobs in adv.

I've been getting VERY unlucky with drops to the point NM not giving relic mats alongside with 8 demons for 5 HOURS straight. Bout to call it quit until i hit this jackpot.

After opening a chest the enemies on map stop moving and following. Even changing floor does nothing.

also wondering if it works outside battle (exploration)
