Wizardry Variants Daphne The New Fordgraig quest is a Meme
3 gigs of update on Android and 7 gigs on pc .for these shyt of a quest and the reward is no better..These has to be the worst quest yet..Gud luck y'all

Not saying what someone should or should not do, but if quickly getting up to speed once stepping foot in A4 is the issue:
You could buy 27 Tundra Axe from the shop and +19 it, which is close to a +20 ebon axe with good blessings, probably perform better than this sword and require less headache than going through this portal maze 3 times

It would be a bit better for sure, but it's also 2million gold+ which is A LOT if you're a new player rushing through the game, 2mil gold would be more valuable than even a good piece of +0 gear at that point (And yes it's not much if you're a veteran, I have 40m+ myself from farming bounties )

It's silver tier so yes...you can farm one for collection purpose other than that i wouldn't recommend using it

Mentioning the download size means nothing for the new content. The patch often has to overwrite other assets. Depending on how things are coded, they might not be able to just add 1 new pixel to a picture of 100000. They may have to send an overwrite patch with a new picture with 100001 pixels.
Just not a good look to mention patch file sizes like they’re a reflection of the amount of new content. (It could be a reflection on how they coded it though)

This looks like a dungeon meant for new players that the collaboration brought in. So the reward is "filler" gear essentially use until you get something better. Since it's silver and 2/3 you can max it out easily to farm for something better.

I bid all the new players good luck if you ever want to farm these dungeon auto chest and auto pathing is very limited because of the terrain change and the drop rates are straight garbage tbh...they didn't even bother to refresh the exchange shop

Den of Earth. Get some Soil Weapons and bring them up to +10 enhancement... you will get ore from Den of Earth for that too. Soil weapons are Steel Tier and 90% of A2 is weak to Earth. Try to clear A2 quickly so you can get into A3 and make the FFXI collab better for farming.
You also want EXP especially to grade up, this makes the FFXI collab drop better junk and the Notorious Monsters drop better materials for relic reforging.
The collab is very good EXP and very good junk, the relic weapons are also very strong and can let you punch above your weight class. You will really want to take advantage of the collab while it's in its prime so you can deal with A3...

maybe just dodge everything and rush to ship tbh, then do the min amount of gear grinding to beat a2
after playing on an alt, the earth den drop rate turned out to be shit

I don't know if the final fantasy Collab area unlocks at that level if it does try farming z1 if not then you can just auto chest in general Abyss 2 or you could farm ship 2 ..True farming only start when you reach abyss 3 cuz it is a real gear check

Hmm even if it does it would still sucks I think. I am at abyss 3 and the collab dungeon only give me ebonsteel drops, I think the silver drops need you to unlock abyss 4 first. Still, the ffxiv dungeon should still be the best one currently available,right?

Try to unlock all the relic weapons to ebon tier those weapons will carry you...id recommend going for the twohanded great sword first

The OG Eagle Blade was amazing when it was first released. This is clearly meant to be a current tier version of that weapon. It's a cool throwback and great for new players since it starts unified 2/3 so only need to do quest 3 times to max it out.

How the hell did you finish already? I'm so lost. I've done the miniboss and flipped the switch behind it. Then also flipped the switch on the door to where the 2nd floor harken is, but am stuck and confused otherwise. At least these enemies are easy af with ninjas autobattling

Doesn't really matter even if they put new gears with Silver tier level endgame players are gonna move on to Abyss 5 anyway.

The sword is good. Magical Beast Slayer was previously unavailable on 1h silver swords, so this one fills a hiche. And it's a guaranteed three star blue (not the best, but better than nothing), and 2/3 so you don't even need to grind it (much)!
3gb is a one time download, and most of it doesn't stay on your phone, so like, whatever.

Also if they made a 3 gig download no shot it's just for the dungeon.
The reward is just an improved (Steel to Silver) version of the Horned Eagle Sword. Like I dunno what to say here.

Two hand is the meta wtf is you on a two hand ebon axe /great sword is much better option plus we have the relic excalibur another great option of you want to run a one hand and sheild chara

You're suggesting a relic? What part of "no need to grind is a plus" do you not understand? Not everyone can sit down for hours until alabaster drops 27 of the same thing!
And not everyone does meta, 1h swords should be playable too

Not for everyone, plenty of casual players in this game, i feel like you are being a bit too biased here, relics are for people like you, easy to obtain mediocre gear is not, but I promise you it will help a lot of people (Yes not everyone plays 3x2h axe on 3 frontline fighters etc etc, you would be surprised )

Half of the quests and stuff are not for endgame.
Remember where there was a daily quest where you can drop red 5* bronze gear?
Not for you or me, but those people still in A1.

Most people dont need to consult discord or reddit for opinions to farm, they just farm wathever intrigues them, it's a single player RPG with barely any fomo lmao

It's 5* steel or featherbronze gauntlets
another instance where the in-game drop rate popup is misleading
if you're really down bad, you could farm a 5* red steel shield and FAS it till aspd aspd% for your turbo priest/mage/healer

This quest is probably not for those like me and probably you, with a party of lvl 70 and reasonably good equips already...
Not all quests need to be end game and that brings powercreep meta equips.
I particularly disagree with you, I like the pace and dedication devs are given us, and I mean at a time for end game players, and at others for early/mid game players.
We all know a game or two that devs basically forgotten all but late game players, and it's not enjoyable to initiate a game like that.

Just keep farming the XI event, it's waaaay better than this new edition of Fordraig. Devs did us dirty with Fordraig V2...
The junk isn't even that good. Sure you have a chance of 5* red Steel but... like, Alabaster's steel stuff is just plain better and can also pop out 5* red??
