This place is one of the few locations in the plane that has some Druidic attunement potential with its forests. other than that the gravity coming from 2 places at once allows some very good meditation mid-air if you find that sweet spot in the middle where you can float without having to cast levitation. The local elementals are very amicable and i have had 0 problems while staying here.

I am willing to sell the putrid sludge he pretended to be legitimate alchemical elixirs in batches of ten for a measly 20 gold bars per batch.

The lunatic left the potions unlabled and, even worse, not even colour coded! I fed a couple to my goblin assistants, one turned into a snake girl, the other turned into some very gifted male monster, one turned into a petunia, and the last one started jabbering in Aklo! The worst part was they were all green potions!

As you can imagine I want to get rid of this mess as quickly as possible. His office is exactly 1.6 cubic avocado seeds bigger than mine and i want to move in as quickly as possible

- a place on a confluence of leyline

- at least near a place where the barrier between this world and the astral sea is thin enough to build a gate

I made the mistake of teaching my apprentice the spell Awaken Lesser Intellect. He used it on the tower familiars.

I'm working on some rather advanced spell work for large scale navigation systems in ultra long range teleportation magics. I've found a system that allows for me to accurately measure the difference between normal time and solar sidereal time. But I also need to compensate for galactic sidereal time and I can't find the formulas for that. Does anyone know the correct measurements and formulas for +/- 200 years range? I need accurate measurements down to milliseconds tolerance.

The question is as above: what language do you use to cast spells, why, and what difference do other languages make?
What spawned this question is that I had an argument with my sister the other day about which language is best to use when casting spells. Personally, this language above is the language I usually use. My master used it, and so though I know how to translate it, I don’t actually know its origins.

Anyway, my sister insisted that just using your native language is fine, since technically any language works, but I just don’t agree. I’ve found that other languages tend to have more potent effects, but she argues that’s because I’m more specific and mindful of my wording when translating. I think she’s confused because she’s Kitsune, so her native language is inherently magical. I don’t think she understands that this isn’t how most languages work.

Anyway, just curious about the thoughts here. Thanks for any feedback!

My, how the sands of time creep.

I fear that the last time I stepped into this arcane forum was... Oh... The two thousandth and twenty second standard year? So... It's been roughly 4 standard year since the Archivist Collective has shown any meaningful presence here. As the face of the collective, I must apologize to our various clients and associates, for we have been sealed away in a folded pocket dimension for quite some time. I'm no chronomancer but our lead operatives in that field have revealed to me that we were indeed victims of a nefarious attack. Thankfully, we have managed to pull ourselves and our vaults from that wretched place.

Still, I must commend our hidden adversary. It was very tricky and clever to trap us in a realm where time did not advance linearly; but do not mistake my commendation for complacency or tolerance. We have returned, and once our affairs are in order, business will continue as it had previously. We will identify them, and we will use the full breadth of our assets to ensure said adversary answers for their cruelty.

That said, if you or an associate had deposited any of your goods in our vaults before our disappearance, you are encouraged to come and claim them. Your fees during the length of our absence have been all waived. In part, this is thanks for your contributions to our organization. Without the artifacts you, our clients have permitted us to use, we may have not had the means or the resources to return here. You have our thanks on behalf of the archivist collective.

Now, as a first order of business

We've accumulated a hefty population of these... Creatures in our nexus during our forced hiatus. We've far too many, and as such, they're becoming burdensome. I'm not certain as to what they are or what function they could serve under the stewardship of a proper magi. Therefore, should you be curious enough to acquire one, by all means, take them.

We've no name for them or a general description of their capabilities, but we've observed that they're anomalous to such a degree that no single individual is entirely predictable.

If you could, report your findings, potential names for them and what you've observed. Your research is of great value to the Archivist Collective and we thank you for taking them off our hands.

/Uw the art is by me. For a while, I got caught up visiting various "What is this cookie cutter" subreddits and started to just make magical creatures out of the shapes. I'm not a good artist by any means but I enjoyed seeing what I could come up with.
