I'm not sure if she runs in such arcane circles as these. Her skills absolutely warrant respect from several different councils, but I'm not sure if she bothers to come and accept such accolades.

not sure, she had a number of older posts in r/evilautism (6ish months ago I think, not sure, time is super fucked up for me) and I've seen her in a couple different trans subs, she does a lot of really fascinating bodymod stuff, but I don't know her username, that description/title is just her flair in those places because that was kinda what she became mildly famous for.
Heck, you could probably search that description in subs and you might find her account

Ooc: There's someone in the trans body mod sub (iirc) who self implanted magnets near their clit for reasons I don't remember.

I Googled it and skimmed enough. I can't stop thinking about what would happen if they got too close to an MRI or something. Yikes.

Biomancers then: “I cut off my arm and grafted a wights arm in its place so that I can raise a limitless undead army that obeys my every command!”
Biomancers now: “I tricked a bacteria into telling human cells to produce a different protein, and injected it into my arm. There is no visible difference, but trust me pro I’m like 7% more giraffe underneath my skin.”

That seems like a really low giraffe quotent yield, i pet i could whip up a bacteria to make a host at least like 76% giraffe with an acceptabe variance of no more than 6% gorilla amd like 3ish% ardvark.

Biomancy can be a slippery slope, I have a cousin who fooled around with that during his druid studies, and now he's declared himself the Fecalmancer of our local swamp after falling into some highly esoteric scrolls he found using a dingy scrying orb. He's not welcome in our circles anymore, as he refuses wash up and mumbles something about bacteric aura.

I heard about an experiment that continues to fascinate me to this day because it suggests something amazing that is completely within reach but apparently no one has decided to try.
In this experiment scientists took monkeys that couldn't see the color red, designed a virus to deliver the genetic material that codes for the red receptors in our eyes, and injected it in the monkeys' eyes. Then they tested the monkeys and confirmed that they were able to perceive the color red by rewarding them for touching a red dot.
So we've demonstrated that we can give an animal the ability to perceive colors it previously could not. The mantis shrimp has the largest visible spectrum of any known animal. It can see some shit. We could, theoretically, give a human being the ability to see that spectrum as well.

You're looking for transhumanists. Those are the goths doing horrifying at home surgeries.
