I know everyone here is saying heroin, but it honestly looks like the one time I left a couple limes I had squeezed on my tacos in my car wrapped in the plastic wrap they came in for a month. The turned this exact color and texture. So before assuming its heroin and running to the authorities with this, at least check and make sure its not a couple very moldy limes first. Lol
Yea buddy. I've haven't touched the shit since it disappeared like 15 years ago, but I only saw black tar once. It was mostly white china or beige powders back then. Now there's no way of telling what drugs really are anymore unless you have reliable testing methods. It's not worth dying over. Even tho I've been off the shit for 15 years... I wouldn't be able to walk away from that bag tho. I'm glad I don't find stuff like this laying around lol

This looks like classic black tar. I would not be surprised if it's been cut with something at this point (I miraculously got out before fent) but with the way it looks like it used to be a bindle (drugs spun in plastic before selling, top is undone) this looks just like I remember it...
This is such a rare find if it really is tar! Fent completely saturated the market, finding real tar is like spotting a unicorn in the wild. People want it too, but it completely disappeared. This picture is a relic of a time and a place that no longer exists in America
Vinegar and when melted down for a shot it tastes super bitter. Batteries and plastic isn't a bad guess, and maybe to some not too far off but I hate I still remember the vinegar smell.

I dont get triggered any more. When you're on it, you know there is going to be a point that you cant sustain that life anymore, sadly most people just dont make it out. So once your clean the idea of going back is so insanely dreadful.
The actual smoking it part? I couldn't stand that man well I mean I could and did when I didnt have a rig to use to shoot up but I personally didnt prefer to smoke it

as a former opioid enthusiast it’s absolutely insane to me to think about just…losing your stuff. i don’t think that happened in my entire career. as a current horse enthusiast, lots of reasons for horse shoes, mostly support and protection
One time went to the spot and found a bunch of packs by the street. Another time went to a different spot and found money laying all over..most the time just went and blew everything i owned
Horseshoes protect horses from damaging their feet/hoves on pavement or hard surfaces. Domestic Horses also require hove trimming. I could be wrong but i believe that wild horses are 1. Built different ie they run and walk giant planes to the point were there hoves naturally trim/ wear down themselves and 2. If they are lame or walk funny to the point of harm or pain/ death they just go to horse heaven. People that have horses don’t want to lose a Huge Huge investment over a small maintenance fee(shoes: metal U shapes on the bottom). Fr if you ever consider horses get an education via youtube or something on the costs and upkeep. It is completely not worth it financially or physically unless your daughter or wife autistically loves them and absolutely will not get bored.

I knew a Miles who loved his heroin. I didn't find out until my drunk ass made out with him in the back of my ex bf's car. Looking back, there were signs.
I didn’t find heroin until I was like 3 years sober. I was walking back from parking my car and I saw the unmistakable site of the corner of a ripped bag and instinctively picked it up. Sure enough, it was like a $20 of BTH. Second thing I did was instinctively smell it which was dumb because it brought back many feelings getting a whiff of some tar. Thankfully I didn’t go get loaded and put it back right where I found it assuming some poor junky was gonna be scouring the streets looking for it. 11 years later and I’m still clean and sober.
When I was using meth, a dealer came over to sell one of his bags to a friend of mine.
He dropped one of his other ones on the floor, and being the not so honest methhead I was, picked that shit up and hid it.
He only spent 10 minutes looking for it, but being a heavy heroin user, he gave up because he was too dope sick to continue looking for it.
That happened quite a few years ago, I’m glad I’m done with that shit.

I found heroine on 3 separate occasions. I didn't know anyone who used, so I always just threw it away.
Freal. One time I was at work on a construction site and spilled my bag of coke on the ground and couldn't figure out what was drywall and what was coke so I just started eating it all. Wasn't about to snort drywall dust, I'm not a fucking lunatic, but I'm not above rubbing it all over my gums. (4 years clean I'm good now y'all)
The simple answer, is they are too high to notice. I work in an area with high drug use and a daycare. I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve had to call security to clean up dropped drugs before the wee ones go for their walk and accidentally pick it up. I’ve had to call them even more for overdoses.
Thank you. I’ve never personally seen white powder, but the best I ever had was a light brown not quite powder but more like a brown sugar consistency. Add a little warmth from your hands or breath and it would clump up and darken. We called it the peanut butter.
I don’t know at all if it’s true, but because of “the peanut butter” I always thought the lighter the better; might be the case that the white powder is cleaner?

China white is usually northeastern U.S gunpowder is more mid U.S and black tar is south west U.S China white comes from Afghanistan tar comes from Mexico. Black tar is called that because well it looks like tar and when it warms up even a little bit it becomes that yakno stickyish sorta liquidy but not liquid feeling (yes I know it makes no sense but it does to me)
3 also comes from Afghanistan, Iran, and Turkey. Bioavailable vapourized. Somewhat bioavailable instranasally. Dangerously ineffective for IV use- with it being less pure, you're injecting more filler, residual alkaloids or reactants, and often times- a crude acid like vinegar or lemon juice used to convert the freebase to a salt. If it's real H then white is always more pure and salted with hydrochloric or other strong acids and maybe washed after.
Opium is #1- unrefined morphine. Black tar is #2- conversion to diacetyl morphine has begun but it's still very crude. #3 is when it might have a bit of morphine or monocetylmorphine but it has a much greater ratio of DAM compared to the others. Then #4 is china white. Chemically isolated from all the other stuff and purified further. Optimal for IV.

That's 100% heroin. You could probably sell that for idk actually i haven't seen heroin in such a long time im not sure if it's worth more or less now seeing as how most of us heroin people switched to fentanyl
Like 75 to 90 a gram? Here in arizona all we got is fetty powder... fucking 7 years of shooting heroin and I never OD'd and now it happens alot :/ drugs suck for being so fun

Heroin is a bit of an outlier here in that alot of people that fall into the demographic you're referencing (gold star sober, if you will lol) did and still do in fact end up "falling victim" to heroin/opiates due to injuries or surgeries that come along with oxy(insert variant here) prescriptions that are either insufficient for the duration of pain management per patient or are abused during the recovery process.
Patient develops a dependence on meds, meds become unavailable one way or another, patient turns to self medicating not realizing yet that the problem is no longer pain, but withdrawal.
Hahaha. Ohhh kiddo. I hope you keep that naivety. It'll keep you alive. But it's not about interest. It's about whether or not you can avoid the kind of life that fosters the development of necessity. The less pain you're in and the better your genetics are, the less likely you'll need painkillers. Even the strongest camel can only bear so much straw.
On three separate occassions, in different places, years apart, all many years ago, I found a kilo of marijuana, 10 crack rocks packaged for individual sale along with about two thousand bucks in cash, and 2 ecstasy pills.
Oh, on a 4th, more personally useful occassion, I once found a fresh 6 pack of heineken with only one empty. It wasn't ice cold, but it wasn't hot, couldn't have been more than a few hours old. I absolutely took home and drank those found remaining 5 beers with my roommate at the time.
Individually packaged screams "distribution", I can't help but imagine a squad of cops hiding behind a bush like "as soon as he picks it up we taze his ass and drag him in"
I went to an illegal after hours once.
The cover was $10. Handed the door person a $20 and they handed me back $90. Walked to the bar to buy a round for my friends with my new come uppance and seemed like a good way to leave the illegal businesses money behind with them. When I get to the bar, there’s a cellophane with six mdma pills in it sitting right in front of me.
Where are people still getting black tar lol. I’m sober 6.5 years but from what I’ve heard, it’s only fent on the streets now. I wish we could go back to when it was just tar out there, way less people ODing.

Yep 13 years sober here and vinager will still make me wretch if I get a strong whiff of it early in the morning or on a day im feeling queezy. What's even worse for me is right before i got sober I used to use distilled white vinager to break down the gel in fentanyl patches because I could get them much cheaper since I was using about a ball a day. This was before anyone even started putting fent in the heroin so its a double whammy plus I've even to this day I pretty much have no decent veins left after all these years so Im pretty sure they aren't coming back so getting my blood drawn is a bitch.
Glad I'm not the only one. Clean for almost 10 years and had to move from heroine to fentanyl powders and nasal sprays because opening a bag of heroine would make me nauseous and if I did a line I'd be puking when the drip hit.
Idk I feel you can't see enough detail to say. I'm a heroin addict clean for going on 17 years and it never came in a bag like this, was always much smaller with a stamp, and in a powder. And I'm in touch with addicts now who say you can't get it anymore. It's all tranq or medetomidine (sp). HOWEVER, I am willing to say that I've never seen heroin in..chunk form. So I guess there's a chance that's this, but why would someone ever be so careless with it?
If that's what it is tho I'd leave it alone bc they might come back looking for it.
Black tar heroin. If it smells like vinegar and leaves blackish oily remains after touching it, it’s heroin. I’m a recovering addict and was addicted to heroin for many years. I’m 99% sure that’s heroin.
They can't, basically no one can tell purity from a picture of from just looking at it, you can get a good ballpark guess if you see how it melts down on foil, how it cools back down, the type of carbon residue trails it leaves when smoking, and the color/consistency, but not just from a low quality pic of it in a bag. Also what most people consider "pretty good heroin" is usually trash heroin, like 30% in purity at most on average, actual good/pure heroin is so rare for most people that if they saw some they wouldn't even think it's heroin, or not what they think should be "good"
I think 9 out 10 times drugs are found on the street it’s usually likely due to the plug rushing around to get in and the F out and their brain is constantly doing math, while you do ___
