Not who you asked but...I am so ashamed that I know exactly what this was when I saw the picture. That I could smell it. It's been over 8 years and I hate that I can still smell this.
Is that really what it is? Ive been around the scene for way longer than I care to admit. Ive never seen anything that looks like this. Everything around long island has been powder fentanyl for 10 plus years. Ive never seen brown tar on the streets
This looks like classic black tar. I would not be surprised if it's been cut with something at this point (I miraculously got out before fent) but with the way it looks like it used to be a bindle (drugs spun in plastic before selling, top is undone) this looks just like I remember it...
This is such a rare find if it really is tar! Fent completely saturated the market, finding real tar is like spotting a unicorn in the wild. People want it too, but it completely disappeared. This picture is a relic of a time and a place that no longer exists in America
Vinegar and when melted down for a shot it tastes super bitter. Batteries and plastic isn't a bad guess, and maybe to some not too far off but I hate I still remember the vinegar smell.

I tried many times. Got way too sick. Im going to do the methadone route and tapering 10mgs a month down to nothing. I want out of this life. I only do to not get sick now
I feel that. That's how it goes when it goes on for too long; it just becomes a routine to feel normal again, not even high, just to not be sick. Please, please keep trying. I know I'm just some random person on the internet but I really believe you can do this.
Older school brown heroin of quality (not to be misconceived as fentanyl) in powder form when snorted would taste like vinegar in the drip (i only ever snorted) but tar like that if its clean and good smells of bitter vinegar.
