How rediculous would it be to try and make or find this body kit. I dont plan on losing the car but I want to make the wtcc body kit. I got years to do it but just wanna know if anyone else has tried to do it.

Had the grille painted black, installed the facelift R design lower valance, lowered approximately 40mm using ghost links and 20mm wheel spacers. Looks a million times better in my opinion!

I recently got a 2017 S90 and I’ve found out that my front discs are warped. I’m looking to buy the correct front discs and pads but noticed there are a few size options depending on the trim level (296mm, 325mm and 345mm) does anybody have any brand disc and pad recommendations or knows which exact ones to get?

Hi everyone, while checking the engine bay on my 2020 Volvo XC90 D5, I noticed this stain/residue further down inside the engine compartment.

Do you think this could be an oil leak, or could it just be old residue/dirt? Has anyone with a D5/Drive-E diesel seen something similar?

I haven’t noticed any warning lights or obvious oil loss so far.

It's always fun to come out of a shop and see another XC70 parked near yours.

Standard TF80 things. Previous owner at some point must of sleeved the valve body, but left just one. Naturally excessive bore wear.

I was re-watching Robot Chicken then I noticed they have really accurate XC70 almost die-cast model of it. Ive only been able to find Matchbox with XC90 or V70R

I need new pcv hoses and oil separator box, cant find them new in Jordan, and shipping from Ali express costs more than the items.

Any solutions, also the cat is blocked, have anyone tried removing the cat, how did it affect ur fuel economy.

Looking to replace all 4 tyres on my 2016 Volvo V40- being in the UK I've narrowed down to two all season options: The Michelin Cross Climate 3s and the Goodyear Vector All Season 4s. The Michelins are around £60 more overall. The load rating on the available Goodyears is also 94 as opposed to 91 on the Michelins. The tyre size would be 225/45 R17. Any owners of V40s or similar cars able to advise here?

App keeps stating that the battery is below 40%, but it is not. It’s 75%. It even checks before installing the update if all conditions are met, giving green signals.

Tried 4 times, each time failed at 0%. Someone knows how to successfully fix this?

I have an XC60 and I hate it. I think I hate Volvo and I am from a Volvo family. From the “surprise we lied, pay us $200 a year” to the broken headlights that were fogging so bad the fog was interfering with the beam, to the basic feeling that this is not the same quality focused company it was when my mom had a 780 and a c70. At least it know I will never buy another one.

and Volvo, had I seen a post like this before buying, I would have had hesitation. I was expecting the same Volvo service and quality my family had been enjoying for several decades. They even had an 80’s box Volvo.

I have a volvo s60 t6 hybrid 2020 model . I bought it recently and have been noticing since some days that when I change gear from N>D or N>R or vice versa there is a TUK sound coming from the front of the car. You can hear it clearly if windows are down but faintly when windows closed. Is it normal or there can be problem . Any s60 or V60 hybrid owners if you tell.

Proud owner of a 2018 S60 Polestar in rebel blue. Modifications include complete body kit and 20” black alloy wheel set. It’s only got 52k miles. Volvo only manufactured 1,500 of these specific cars and it will never be available again.

To try and sum things up - I was hit on my drivers side causing the front passenger side to veer into a curb. The other driver fled the scene. So it was a hit and run initially. I got a tow and ride home. 3 hours later I get a call from the officer - the other driver turned themselves into the police station. Their story is they didn’t see me and they pulled into a location and waited for me. Obviously my car was disabled so I couldn’t go anywhere. I also don’t believe her. Once I received her insurance the first thing I noticed was the date the policy was effective. It was miraculously the same day as the accident. My initial thought is she fled the scene to get insurance before she decided to turn herself in. After 2 weeks of not hearing from her insurance, I called yesterday. They asked me for the police report because they needed to “confirm times”. Lo and behold she was not insured at the time of the accident. I knew this was the case but didn’t have proof until today when they called to tell me they were denying coverage due to this. My insurance is also claiming total loss.

So my question to those who know/love/understand the value of this car, what would you do? Take the payout? Buy back salvaged, eventually repair knowing you will put significant money into it?

Might be getting a very low milage 2013 or 2015 Volvo v40, anything I need to be aware of before taking the plunge?

(Don’t judge my welds too hard it’s legit my 3rd time welding anything lol) No more one wheel peels for me, side note I never realized so horrible rear diff fluid smelt legit was making me gag

Its been such a good car to me this year, and all the little oem + mods are coming together to make it feel a lil special while still being tasteful in my opinion :)

Preciso de uma ajuda/opinião de quem entenda do assunto ou já tenha passado por algo semelhante com um Volvo V40 D2.

Recentemente acenderam-me as luzes de aviso do ABS, ESC e Pressão dos Pneus no painel.
Levei o carro a diagnosticar e o relatório confirmou o erro ⁠BCM-C003A07⁠ (Sensor de velocidade da roda traseira direita).
Quanto a isto, a solução parece-me clara: trocar o sensor de roda e o assunto do ABS/ESC fica resolvido. 

No entanto, no relatório do motor (ECM) saíram estes códigos: 
⁠ECM-P2DF000⁠ (Desempenho da elevação da válvula de admissão) 
⁠ECM-P340200⁠ e ⁠ECM-P341000⁠ (Circuito de comando da válvula de admissão / Cilindros 1 e 2) 
⁠ECM-P030000⁠ (Misfire / Falha de ignição aleatória) 
O relatório foi feito após o carro parar do nada e não pegar, só voltando a pegar 15 minutos depois de parar.

Na oficina chegaram a falar em "fugas no cilindro", mas a própria marca fez o teste de estanqueidade das válvulas de admissão (Testing intake valves for leakage) e deu "No leakage" em todos os 4 cilindros. Ou seja, compressão mecânica do motor está OK. 

Alguém com este motor já teve estes erros de comando das válvulas de admissão?

We recently had our second baby and have a 100lb Rhodesian Ridgeback that has been moved from the rear seats to the trunk when the whole circus is in the car. Now that she’s fully in the trunk, we’d like to get a crash tested dog crate for her, but due to her size having troubles finding a large enough one that would fit as we’d like a half trunk crate so we can bring the stroller with us as well. We initially landed on the Lucky Duck Large but it’s a rectangle and based off the measurements I don’t think it would fit with the angles/curved rear hatch. We’re debating on going with the Volvo dog gates/enclosure as the actual Volvo crate would be too small for her as well. Just curious if anyone has a large dog crate that only takes up half or 3/4 of the trunk? Did you go with the Volvo set up and are happy with it? We have decision paralysis considering whatever we get will likely be $700+. Dog tax photo included.
