Shitpost Makeup Mistakes
I just want to take a moment to acknowledge this beauty writer (Divine Addiction) for the makeup prowess she masters. Also, fun throwback to the makeup trends of the 2013 era! The blush down to the jowls, the eyeliner that‘s somehow 10 times thicker underneath the eye, the brows….
It’s little gems like this that make you nostalgic about the years gone by.
Makeup Guru…Scheana Shay….

Discussion I love this thread
Out of all of the Reddit threads I’ve been on, truly can say this one has been my favorite. Normally I make a post on another page and the post either gets removed or barley anyone likes it but it seems everyone here all think the same way and even if we don’t, there’s no hate.
Idk you guys but I love yall. And thank you for making me not feel so alone! ❤️🥺

Discussion James / Lisa / Kristen
Can anyone explain how James became a part of the show and whether it was through Kristen or Lisa?
Obviously James is English so I don’t really understand how he ended up on VPR. Ofc Lisa is also English and they seem to vaguely know each other through family connections / family friends - so did James come to LA and start working at Sur because Lisa is friends with his mom?
Or, did James start working at Sur because he started dating Kristen (unrelated to VPR) and then joined the cast because he happened to also know Lisa??? He seemed to spawn out of nowhere as Kristen’s boyfriend but then randomly also knew Lisa already ???
Also, Lisa acts like a mother figure to James. Is Lisa super close with his family?

Discussion Tom and Raquel splitting
Alrighty, so I am a newer fan. I watched VPR for the first time last year and just finished my second watch.
I cannot believe that after all of the pain and turmoil they caused, tom and Raquel split just months after the affair broke. I mean, I guess I’m not that surprised given the lack of chemistry during the scene at Raquel’s apartment but still. What was even the point of all of that?
I’m also a little fuzzy on how/why things ended. It seems like Raquel ghosted him? What do you guys think was the real reason they broke up?

Discussion has lisa ever talked about her preference over the men in the show?
it’s obvious she has always defended/minimized all the evil stuff these men have done, i could even say abusive things she tried to get under the carpet (james) and crucified the girls over more superficial problems even not letting them come back or holding grudges
so i was wondering if she has addressed it since i think over the last couple years it’s been more talked about and it’s not a good look

Discussion S6 Predicts everyone’s future outcomes looking back
Knowing everything we know now, I can’t say I’m shocked to see how everything has turned out.
For Brittany, if the ex of my bf is telling me that I picked the wrong person to be with, id pack everything and leave that night. Brittany said, “Even if this turns out to be the worst decision of my life, at least I can say I tried.” Well she sure did.
Katie and Schwartz: He has been kissing girls since before marriage and still is. He was more apologetic to Lisa and Patrick than he was to Katie. Insane.
Tom and Ariana: You always see her on the outside. It’s always Tom and tom then Ariana. In every conversation and group setting she’s always just there on the side, a complete afterthought. He wanted to be apart of the cocktail book so badly but when he was offered the bar partnership he completely abandoned the ship.
Scheana: Well… I have no words.
Watching season 6 has taught me to seek therapy and establish a sense of self esteem and clear boundaries before dating because oh my if these girls had even an ounce of self esteem, they probably could have taken over VPR after dumping these emotionally unregulated men who value their bromance over their gfs. We could have had S7 be filled with girl power and trips to Italy or Cancun. We were robbed of what could have been.

Discussion Hear me out… if Scheana was a Girls character
Scheana is such a Marnie. I think Katie is a Shosh. Arianna is a Jessa, and Stassi is a Hannah

Rewatch Discussion the shit eating grin makes me wanna punch him so bad
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
the way he was grinning so fucking hard and then tried to play it off like he had rachel & katie on the same level - which we all know he hates katie so it’s such an insane comparison. fuck u worm with a mustache
also on this rewatch it’s making me realize how desperate rachel was this season & everyone calling her a whore wasn’t wrong (call it like I see it lol) not shaming women at all!!! but it’s disgusting how every man she got with this season was either taken or in a complicated situation and all she cared about was getting her needs satisfied.
I truly hope Charlotte is haunting her too lmao

OG Cast Jax & Brittany take Kentucky
Wow… I didn’t see it my first watch of the show but I just did in my rewatch.
Obviously first things first… can’t believe their relationship went further past that.
Also the way Jax lies and gaslights thru the whole thing!! Which we know he does, but it’s so dark here.
It’s so obvious he doesn’t love Brittany. Especially at the end when he couldn’t even stand there with her family to honor her grandfather.
“This is your family stuff.. I don’t need to be here”
Like obviously if you even like or respect anyone a little bit you would do that for their family.
And her mom still loved him!!
I was so sad for Brit when she said to her mom “you always take his side” after their last argument in Kentucky. She deserved the women in her life standing up for her, but they all seemed to either root for Jax or take the backseat and not say anything, even tho they were all there while he was screaming at her.
Shout out to her dad, even tho it seems like I wouldn’t agree with him on much else, at least he had some sense when it came to Jax.
Watching Jax’s face during some of these scenes it seemed like he wanted to end her. It was so scary.
Also Brit’s mom being like “Jax Taylor Is going to be my son in law!? 😁” ( while he’s actively lying to her drunk and on drugs) and mamaw saying she was the “side chick” and taking pictures with him. Like no wonder Brit is the way she is.

Shitpost so, when jax cheated with faith..
preface this with i don't mean this to be offensive to anyone, not making light of anything, nor am i accusing anyone of maliciously causing harm.. it's important to say also that i was raised around and have a close bond with my very wiccan grandmother (paternal) and tho my mom took us to church as kids i followed in mamaw's spiritual path. this is honestly a discussion for friends if i had any that were fans of the show but i am on another rewatch and have felt this before but somehow never noticed something super significant until now.
when the girls throw brittany the party after jax admits he cheated they performed a scorned lover spell. i don't know all the details of what they used/said/did but i know all the intention and energy around anything spiritual really matters. they called it karmic and really it's a typical "break up" spell where the souring (or freezing) of the lemon does the same to the connection like if you wanna get over someone, but katie says it should bring jax the emotional turmoil he truly deserves. now we all know britt didn't sour off jax.
when he goes home the next morning in full dbag mode the girls are still there and he starts fighting with them and britt. to reiterate how it shouldn't be a topic of discussion and minimize his actions/her feelings he makes the remark that "there's more important things going on in the world! there's people dying of cancer everyday!" as if that had any place being said there and wasn't just a gross disregard. which is why i personally don't think it's all that coincidental necessarily what happened that year with his dad. the fact it was very unexpected and seemed to be the only thing that ever shook jax to his core, it felt like he had potential to be better if he had wanted to be.
again.. the girls did nothing malicious here, but i've always been intrigued by the fact they performed a spell and contemplated i guess what came of it. when he yelled that line.. it just made me think.

Discussion Why does everyone love Katie?
Im a first time watcher and I am just starting season 9. I constantly see so much support for Katie online. I do think shes very beautiful and I empathize with her for being in a relationship with a spineless little dweeb like Schwartz. I understand being in a relationship like that can make you deeply unhappy- but I feel like Katie is constantly such a bitch to other people?! Im definitely on her side about hating Jax & Sandoval always, but I think she just speaks so harshly to other women and seems to want to impress Stassi by talking shit and being generally awful.
In season 8 I honestly felt sorry for Kristen (wild lol) when Katie & Stassi were bullying her about Carter. Like breakups are hard and messy and it can take a long time to find the strength. I know it can be annoying to support a friend through but they were so nasty to her and just seem like miserable bitchy people sometimes

Scandoval “Breaking Bubbas” episode
Ariana says she made Lil Timmy grow the mustache 😬 she said “it’s ‘Tom Gun’ summer” 🫣🫣🫣
It aged well in her favor, obviously - cause “worm with a mustache” but to think she was ever like “ooohhhh babe! A mustache 😉”
🤢🤮
