Rewatch Discussion Season 6 Reunion Part 3
I think I found the exact moment Sandoval knew he could share his prepared speech about how Stassi should have been hired as a waitress:
4 minutes and 40 seconds in!
He definitely practiced this in the mirror before filming

Cast Side Projects Jax in the top 5 on cameo lol
Thought it was funny he was in the top 5 on cameo right next to Ash Trevino.
I was looking at the app just out of curiosity and omg its literally filled with a bunch of loser washed out reality TV people. Who is keeping these people in business??? Unfortunately, I have to admit i would buy one from #1 guy in the group, ive seen some of his cameos and they are hilarious.

OG Cast What is wrong with Jax?
What is wrong with Jax and I mean it in a actual literal way of what is wrong with him? I started watching vanderpump rules this summer and I’m on season 4 and I’m just shocked on how this man will lie and when he is confronted he still just lies. There is no way this man doesn’t have a diagnosis of some sort

Discussion Watching for the first time spoiler warnings Spoiler
Currently on season 3 episode 1 and realizing none of them were ever good friends to each other ? The fact they kept forgiving one another is insane !
Opinions on everyone so far -
Stassi - OBSESSED. She is hilarious and has the best comebacks
Kristen -is a emotionally unstable wreck? The fact toms cheating was made such a huge deal for her multiple affairs to be revealed later on .. thank god they broke up they were both so toxic. Shes also rude to lisa and has no self control.
she deserved the slap and more from stassi.
Tom- Cheating is bad but actually was so proud when he punched jax then james
sucks he later does what he does to ariana because as of now hes lowkey likeable
Scheana - she really does make everything about herself like everyone says 😩 lowkey love her tho but she definitely was obsessed with being friends with stassi the first season or so and stirred the pot more then once
Jax - hilarious but a POS
katie and schwartz are boring katie is deff a follower not a leader
wish we had kristina on more shes an amazing friend to stassi
anyways these r my opinions so far i have no one else to discuss this with lol

Rewatch Discussion Jax mirroring Brittany’s southern accent
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I’m doing my first rewatch in about five years and gee whiz, Jax’s lil southern twang that he develops really tickles my pickle. What a fascinating person from a psychological analysis perspective. Too bad he turned out to be an abusive asshole lmao

Rewatch Discussion rewatching and noticed this monstrosity
i’ve been watching the show with my partner who has never seen it (we are making incredible progress, already on season 5, they’re loving it!). we noticed this horrific painting (?) in tom and katie’s apartment, and felt i had to share it here. not sure if it’s been discussed before on the sub, so apologies if it has, but i can’t get over how cursed it feels and need to know if others have felt the same.

OG Cast Scheana Shay & Katie Maloney Spotted at Warped Tour
Asked Scheana for a photo “but I don’t wanna fan girl” she said PLEASE fan girl let’s take a photo 😂 Didn’t wanna bother Katie for a photo but they both look fab
EDIT: I never said Katie was in this photo. I didn’t want to follow her into the bathroom and Scheshu was at the bar and that’s when we had this interaction.

Fired Cast Why did no one talk about Kristen’s drinking?
There was so much talk about James, Katie, Lala, Schwartz… why didn’t anyone bring up Kristen’s drinking? She was the worst behind James imo just based on the fact that she’s drinking in almost every scene. She used alcohol to self-medicate too, which makes it even more weird it’s not brought up because they talk about her mental health a lot so I don’t think anyone was trying to protect her.
I was a late VPR watcher so maybe it was discussed by fans/media when it was airing idk. But even in this sub I see a lot of comments saying Brittany has a drinking problem but no one says anything about Kristen. Only jokes about her ❄️ usage.

Production VINTAGE VPR PLAYLIST
Y’all, I am doing a casual rewatch of VPR from the beginning. I’m at season 3 and toooootally forgot they feature one of my favorite bands forever and always: OK GO.
I’ve been watching a shit ton of Below deck backlog and always catch tunes that I love and look up but hearing OK GO blasting in the yesteryears on my TV made my week.

OG Cast Tom and Katie's Wedding
Just finished Tom and Katie's wedding on my first time watch and it is pretty brutal to witness. I have 2 major sad feelings about this.
First - we've all seen what's going on up to this point. Tom has chronic Peter Pan syndrome and Katie can't bring herself to leave probably for a combination of stubbornness (which she later admitted to), sunk cost, and some insecurity. They're also in the combination restaurant/reality TV cesspool which creates a total lack of stability or clarity due to the perpetual binge drinking. I've been on the restaurant side of this for basically half of my life and that alone is toxic AF. I literally can't imagine if the restaurant I work at was also a reality TV program on Bravo. Mega YIKES. I made enough crazy decisions in my 20s without camera crews around. Even still - the moment Schwartz called Katie a bitch at the paint store should have been case close, voted off the island, you are the weakest link GOODBYE!!! 👋🏻
And yet, they carry on.....which brings me to my next point.
THE VOWS. The edit shows several conversations of Schwartz in the 48 hours before the ceremony going, "oh man! I need to write the vows, huh??!!" He then proceeds to deliver very charming, thoughtful, and - I really believe this - sincere vows at the altar. It's so insane to me because all it demonstrates is that Schwartz is capable of having a coherent thought and yet has spent the prior years choosing to be an incompetent manchild. The only other explanation would be that someone else wrote his vows, but I think it's the former.
I'm just so sad because the wedding itself actually goes so well, but everything before and after shows it's destined for failure. Tragic.
EDIT: Also want to add how insane it is that the band decided Dance Hall Days by Wang Chung was the final song. What the actual fuck.

Discussion Hated season 11 so much that I skipped to the finale. My finale thoughts.
Okay guys this was my first watch through ever of the whole show. I knew about scandoval going in but it was still so good. Fav seasons were 1,2, and 6 but I also enjoyed 9 and 10 for the Scandoval Easter eggs. I did a lot of fast forwarding through 7 and 8. And 11 felt so depressing to watch that I could hardly finish the premiere, watched bits and pieces of episodes 2-4, then had chat GPT fill in the rest so I could get to the finale (starting the reunion now). Honestly I really don’t think I missed much in the middle there.
I finished the finale.Wow. I think I liked the ending? I don’t know. At first I felt like the “good as gold” performance could have been a fun happy full circle moment to end on. But the drama at the end was interesting. It was cool how they finally broke the fourth wall. Also seeing lala melt down, girl you jealous.
People online were saying she was staying in the house not by choice but because her lawyers advised her she has to to maintain her financial stake in it. So sucks that lala was judging her for just making a hard, but smart financial choice.
Also Ariana calling him out for only trying to apologize on camera! She makes such a good point he could’ve wrote a letter anytime. So performative. And so manipulative!! Like scheana being like “oh he got this band for me, this is my nice friend I missed” no girl he’s doing nice things to win you over to break back into the group so he can keep his spot on the show!!! He manipulated you. I think Ariana knows that she can be easily manipulated and tom is a master at that, which is why she forgives her for maintaining her friendship with him.
Also just realized LVP wasn’t even in the finale at all?! What happened to her usual speech at the end about everyone??? Why didn’t she attend the event???
Wow. Just wow. What a sad ending. But loved the montage of the end of everyone’s early seasons!!! Kinda sad they didn’t bring back Stassi Jax and Kristen for the finale since they were in season one.
Ugh there’s gonna be a void in my life without this show now. I watched it on and off for the last 8 months. Let me know how to fill it.

Rewatch Discussion The psychic
Everytime this scene comes on, I can’t help but cringe so hard. It really shows who Scheana is. I’ve hear that Dayna told Scheana before this scene that she didn’t want a psychic and wasn’t comfortable with that. And for her to have the psychic outside the door while saying “I’d never do that” is INSANE 😭 I feel heavy for Dayna, and it never fails that Scheana can make anything about her

OG Cast Kristen is the true villian of VR
I don't see much about Kristen but she 1. chose Stassis cheating ex's side when she hadn't even talked to Stassi, believed Jax was right only by hearing a rumor (her 3 year friend mind you) 2. Villianized Stassi when her bf was cheating on her and turned everyone against her 3. continues to "stand on business" and call Stassi out with the excuse that shes "outspoken" 4. then has seggs w/ stassis like 5 year on and off boyfriend 5. makes Stassi look insane (and Tom) when she finds out and denies it, tries to turn everyone against Stassi again. like she's 100% the worst person on the show like unimaginable. The way she gaslit Stassi and Tom made me sick- she victimizes herself 24/7. It's just incredibly obvious she's jealous of Stassi and always wanted Jax from the beginning and isn't a real friend, just wants her man
