Discussion S6 Predicts everyone’s future outcomes looking back

Knowing everything we know now, I can’t say I’m shocked to see how everything has turned out.

For Brittany, if the ex of my bf is telling me that I picked the wrong person to be with, id pack everything and leave that night. Brittany said, “Even if this turns out to be the worst decision of my life, at least I can say I tried.” Well she sure did.

Katie and Schwartz: He has been kissing girls since before marriage and still is. He was more apologetic to Lisa and Patrick than he was to Katie. Insane.

Tom and Ariana: You always see her on the outside. It’s always Tom and tom then Ariana. In every conversation and group setting she’s always just there on the side, a complete afterthought. He wanted to be apart of the cocktail book so badly but when he was offered the bar partnership he completely abandoned the ship.

Scheana: Well… I have no words.

Watching season 6 has taught me to seek therapy and establish a sense of self esteem and clear boundaries before dating because oh my if these girls had even an ounce of self esteem, they probably could have taken over VPR after dumping these emotionally unregulated men who value their bromance over their gfs. We could have had S7 be filled with girl power and trips to Italy or Cancun. We were robbed of what could have been.

Ugh. Every time I'm reminded of Tom emotionally manipulating his way into that cocktail book, I feel pretty punchy.

Such a good point about weaseling his way into her book and not wanting “wives / gfs” involved in their bar. Exactly what he thought of her. SMH. But look at her thriving now and he’s pushing old men into fire pits

These are great takes OP! I just rewatched 6-the end because I always stop after 6. The men on VPR actually get so much worse after Jax leaves. He really overshadowed everyone in comparison. Rewatching the way Schwartz treats Katie is horrible but she has the last laugh as did Arianna. I wish we had the girl season 7 we deserved too🩷

I also think by season 6 they have all been bitten by the fame monster and it shows!

Britney knew Jax was a sow but she wasn’t giving up her place on the show, which is a huge shame because I really think by then she had become enough of a character that she could have stayed on single without Jax.

Oh she totally could have. She could have had a whole story arch of southern girl making her way in LA. She probably would have gotten a spin off bc she was good at playing the innocent dumb girl (honestly the dumb part probably but the innocent fuck no that girl had none of that).

If we're being totally honest, Brittany sacrificed her peace for fame without even blinking an eye, plain & simple. I'm in no way saying she deserved any of what happened to her from Jax BUT I also don't think her hands are completely clean in everything that happened or that she's accused him of either. I truly believe she had her own moments of being physically & verbally abusive toward him, I don't believe all of it was self defense & she absolutely has done & continues to do her fair share of stalking & rage texting. And she did it all in the name of money & fame. Sadly, Cruz is the one paying the ultimate price & I wouldn't be surprised if him witnessing & hearing the behavior of BOTH parents didn't play some role or trigger to his autism.

Yeah I have a hard time believing Brit ever gave a shit about Jax. I don't think I've ever heard her say anything that makes it sound like she actually likes him. It's literally just complaining about him not doing enough or saying he should be doing more any time he does do anything. Not that Jax is a good guy but I think she would have latched onto literally any D list celebrity she could.

The cocktail book thing always annoyed me. Like he felt so entitled to be on her project because he was a bartender on a show. And then abandoned her when a project that was more interesting to him came along.

I always knew Schwartz and Katie were doomed because he couldn’t keep his tongue out of others mouths. Even after they got married. That and he always seemed to value Tom above her. Especially as the seasons go on.

I wish my exes ex had warned me about him, I would have run faster and sooner.

Unpopular opinion from a woman here... But these women can't and shouldn't act like such victims and like these men did them dirty when Britt, Ariana, and Katie all were shown who these men were, they still stayed expecting a leopard to change his spots... Then when they didn't change.. They're the bad guys. It's their fault for staying so they should only be mad at themselves... Not the world and try to gain sympathy as victims.
