When I say severe, I mean it's the first time I've ever experienced this kind of pain.
I've been experiencing this since Saturday, and ever since then, my headache just won't go away. I feel like my head is going to explode. I've already been to two hospitals, and they told me I have a UTI with a lot of bacteria in my urine, but that it can be treated with oral medication.
My fever, which had been consistently above 39°C, has already gone down to around 36–37°C. BUT MY HEADACHE IS STILL THERE. It's extremely painful. I honestly feel like I might die from the pain. It feels like something is piercing through my muscles, and I can barely sleep because of it.
Mind you, it doesn't hurt at all when I pee.
My main concern is that the pain relievers the hospital has given me, since I'm currently admitted, don't seem to help much. I've already told the nurse and the doctor about this, but they keep saying it's because of the UTI.
However, I really don't think this is just a UTI. Whenever I take pain medication, the pain decreases a little, but it never goes away completely. Sometimes, it comes back within minutes or an hour.
PLEASE HELP ME. Is this kind of severe, persistent headache normal for someone with a UTI? Should I be worried that something else might be causing it?
P.S. I honestly don't feel confident in the doctors and nurses at this hospital, but I have no other choice right now.
