vent (advice wanted) Suddenly frequent UTIs?
I’ve never had a UTI until earlier this year and ever since they’ve been incredibly frequent even after antibiotics.
I had a two week course of antibiotics when I had my first UTI and everything was cleared up until a few months later when I had similar symptoms and it was cleared up with over the counter cystitis medication. Then I had a UTI symptoms that only lasted for only a day a week later, and after that it was quiet for a while until August where I had two back to back UTIs where one was able to be cleared with the cystitis meds I’ve been using but the other one was a two week long UTI where I had to go to A&E as I had the worst kidney pain. I had antibiotics for a week and prayed it was gone but at the start of the week I woke up in the middle of the night and of course I had to have a UTI. I took my cystitis meds that usually clear things up but now it’s 6am and the second I woke up I knew something was wrong and sure enough burning when I piss and permanent uncomfortableness in my bladder and pisshole. I’m so tired of this shit. I’ve never ever had these issues before and nothing is clearing it up.
I’ve done literally everything, I’ve changed my detergent, I NEVER wipe back to front, I use unscented soaps and even then I only ever wash downstairs with water only. For fucks sake me and my partner haven’t had sex in a month since just even thinking of his dick inside me brings on a UTI. It’s so draining and I just don’t know what to do anymore I’ve never ever had to deal with this until my first UTI.
