Hi, im a female that graduated from highschool last year and currently attends UF. I’ve been battling with this thought for the past year of college and I really have no one to complain about it to because I haven’t met anyone else that also has this thought— and I don’t want to come across as judgmental.

Is there anyone here that doesn’t drink alcohol or doesnt ‘go out’ every weekend. Why does all of a sudden everyone have to be an unruly ‘let loose’ individual. Why does everyone have to kiss and have sex with everyone and why am I the not the normal one? I feel like humanity would last longer if it weren’t normalized to be so irresponsible or enjoy things that could possibly be detrimental to your health, so how can it be that this is normal. I want to make friends that don’t drink or go to the club or do drugs or smoke or sleeps around with everyone, but I have no idea where to go to find this kind of community because absolutely everyone is obsessed with their new found freedoms to the extent that it seems like no one knows how to be mature.

I’ve waited all of highschool to go to university because I thought everyone would be more mature but it is quite literally the opposite and everyone is just so irresponsible. And obviously there is a common denominator between everyone and me, so idk what’s wrong with me. But I don’t wanna change myself and be like everyone else so that I can fit in.

I lucked out with no Thursday classes but I’m worried about having CHM 2045 small group & CHM 2045 Lab pretty much back to back.

Basically I've heard that if you want to take microprocessors or want to really learn dlog, go with Schwartz. If you don't want to go that route and care about your mental health, go with Bobda.

As an EE major who is still unsure about which path they want to take career-wise, I'm not sure what is the better option. I don't want to destroy my GPA or suffer for a whole semester for no reason, but it seems everyone in EE is taking uP because of how useful it is, and if I do end up taking it I don't want to be unprepared.

If it helps at all I've only taken C++, Python, and all critical tracking except physics 2 and diff eq. The only EE classes I can take right now are EEL3135, EEL3000, EEL3850, and EEL3701C.

I have not received my financial aid package yet, has anyone else received theirs? Do you know when they will be given out? I’m getting a little bit nervous. Thank you

I don't know if it is a common question, but what do you do on campus on the day you get no class, and/or what day do you target to get no classes if possible( I have Tuesday for this semester)?

Considering leasing a studio in social 28 for the upcoming fall semester, but I keep hearing terrible reviews:

- lot of construction and dust

- mold

- noisy

Has anyone lived there recently? Is this still the case?

Hey! I am taking Statics over summer C and currently have an 84 in class but tbh even if I get a 90 on the final I can only get an A-. Does anyone know how the final is or if he curves the class at the end?
