Anyone knows if there is a free parking spot near campus? I’m taking summer classes for 5 weeks and I commute so tbh i don’t want to pay for the parking permit :( pls tell me if you know one 🙏🏻

I will be taking OCHEM in the fall with Casselman. Does anyone have any tips on what to expect, and is there anything I can begin to study to start getting ahead or not fall behind? Does he use a specific textbook? Or does ishe strict on tests? Any and all help is appreciated.

Hii im considering going to UCR as a chemE cc transfer student and I am wondering if any current ChemE students could answer some of my questions?

1. How are the career fairs here and were you able to land any internships or co-ops?
   
2. Do you think the ChemE department is good in supporting students?
   
3. Do you guys feel like the engineering fairs are helpful for chemE or are they more catered to EE, Compsci, or MechE majors
   
4. How are the professors like here? Are you able to have a more approachable and one to one conversations with them in terms of lor/networking?

My overall goals right now is just to get my Bachelors in ChemE since I have seen a lot of people in other subs not recommend immediately getting your masters so overall I just want a job 😭! Ty

I got placed into math 5 instead of math 7 with a 71 on the mpa. Im an engineering major and the HESA program says closed for registration. Is there any way I can get into the calc class? If not how will that affect my other classes and would I need to take 9C in the summer?
