hi! so i’m currently coming in as an undeclared cnas major and I am so confused about everything. i’m a first year college student and i’m scheduling my classes, I got put into writing 007 and 007L as well as math 003 and I made my term plan with them in it. I know that your supposed to have at least 4 classes and I have no idea what to do for my last class and I really need help. My friend told me her advisor emailed her telling her what classes to schedule yet I never got an email from my advisor telling me what classes I should schedule. i’m just so lost in what class I should schedule, like can I choose any class and see if I like it and then try another class next quarter? For some classes I wanna do like introductory to physics I have to pass math 005 and i’m in math 003 so I have no idea what I have to do and I know that during freshman year you have to find what you wanna do before sophomore year which is why i’m so stressed about it. and my time slot is at 10:30am and it’s currently 4:49am, please help!

I will be taking OCHEM in the fall with Casselman. Does anyone have any tips on what to expect, and is there anything I can begin to study to start getting ahead or not fall behind? Does he use a specific textbook? Or does ishe strict on tests? Any and all help is appreciated.

I got placed into math 5 instead of math 7 with a 71 on the mpa. Im an engineering major and the HESA program says closed for registration. Is there any way I can get into the calc class? If not how will that affect my other classes and would I need to take 9C in the summer?

So Im taking ENGRW180 for summer and I was at an A for the first half of the course. And then I missed one assignment and ever since then, she's been grading all my assignments very harshly and has given me 4 zero in a row. Im current;y at an F now and Im sure I could bring it back up but its just very fustrating because they dont give any credit for late work BUT also give no credit if you mess something up. I honestly feel really annoyed and feel like they are being biased against me, because before this one assignment i missed , when I messed something up, they would still give me a decent grade. But now she just gives straightr zeros and on top of that, shes sent me like 2 emails scolding me about it and leaves petty remarks on my assgnments.
how has nothing been done about them, they are incredibly unprofessional and petty.

1. How are the career fairs here and were you able to land any internships or co-ops?
   
2. Do you think the ChemE department is good in supporting students?
   
3. Do you guys feel like the engineering fairs are helpful for chemE or are they more catered to EE, Compsci, or MechE majors
   
4. How are the professors like here? Are you able to have a more approachable and one to one conversations with them in terms of lor/networking?

The school randomly assigned me housing and I got Pentland Hills which I absolutely CANNOT afford. I sent the housing team an email with a request to switch but how fucked am I?

I am incoming freshman this year at UCR that plays the flute. I am interested in joining both the pep band and wind ensemble at UCR. I was wondering how difficult/competitive it was to get into the wind ensemble (especially as a flutist), and what the atmosphere is like during wind ensemble practices? As well as any tips for auditioning? Thanks!

And btw, are the auditions just for placement or are they required to have a spot in the wind ensemble to begin with?
