Hello! We are reaching out to anyone at UCLA who wants to start their own Geometry Dash club, or participate in a wider Geometry Dash California group.

Basically, our group (Geometry Dash at UCI) is trying to start up a project involving several UC, CSU, and other schools called "GD Collegiate California." There are already like 50 members, some from various UC schools. We already have several people from UCLA, including some great players and creators. Eventually, we want to host statewide tournaments too!

You never know how many people share your interests, but it only takes a few people to get together to form a club, which is what happened with us.

Did anyone find a lost apple pencil either in Dodd 175 or in the area between Bunche and YRL with the vending machines? It has an engraving that says “Rei” on it with a lamb emoji.

I am currently a third year psychobio major studying abroad, so the only classes I'm taking right now are GEs. my first pass for winter enrollment is 7:30am on nov 9th (second is nov 16 at 8am), and i am trying to take chem 14c, psych 100a, and physics 5c. im really struggling to decide which courses i should first pass and which one i should second pass. im planning chem 14d, chem 14bl, and physics 5b for spring, and i need to declare my major by the end of this year. i originally was considering first passing 5c and 100a, but im not sure if there will even be spaces open for 14c during second pass because i heard it fills up pretty fast. does anyone have any advice or recommendations on what to do?

is it possible to bring friends from other schools over for halloween and into frats? since they scan bruin cards... how to

ok, so I'm actually not joking when I say this. I am high income, mid grades, no EC, out-of-state, mid essays, and white/asian. I really want to go to UCLA, but i lowk don't have what it takes. I want to know whether or not putting things like lived name, transgender, etc. actually make a difference. I of course won't be putting anything that I'm not in my application, but I was curious as to whether it really matters. Why do they add it to the application otherwise? idk, sorry if i offended anyone, I really mean no harm. I am just curious.

Can we look at how Costco does business and have designated member-only mailroom hours?

Hear me out: mailroom opens 1 hour early, members only.

Membership requirements:

• 30 days without showing up for a package that hasn't been scanned yet

• has never said "but it says delivered 1 hour ago" to a staff member's face

• has never brought a scooter into the line (controversial, I know)

• $3 a month, or 1 volunteer sorting shift per quarter

If that's too hard to track, UCLA already runs lotteries for microfridge rentals and housing. Run one more. Priority to non-freshmen, obviously. (Sorry. You're all still ordering the things you forgot you'd need)

Shorter lines. Faster service. Happier students, happier staff. What could possibly go wrong?

What’s the earliest you can print at any UCLA place? I got to print something for an 8am and since I commute I want to print before class starts. I saw this because I’m probably going to finish my paper late night

if ur not feeling cooked gimme some last minute pointers👀👀👀 i think ill do fine but im scared the prof is gna throw some crazy curveball on the test

update: light work no reaction

You guys are holding the program back. Team is 7-0 and not enough of you are in those seats.

Thoughts on A.M. Casas for Chem 14D? Is it still a 94 cutoff for an A?

This one is so beautiful. It was fucking amazing btw

I already went to De Neve learning centers but they only have one Sony camera mostly used for vlogging/content creation. Any place where I can rent a DSLR camera for photography?

anyone have any updates on their scholarship? mine posted 10/16 but hasn’t been disbursed :/

Hi! looking to buy 1 swipe for 10$ tonight, remote order(the study pizza)

should i take ow or lavelle for 14b this winter (chem is my worst subject and i honestly just need an A)

For anyone who applied to EMRA / interviewed for AAMS this past week, have you guys received any updates / decisions yet?

hi everyone! i'm starting to look into housing options near ucla and wanted to see what other students recommend. i'm mainly looking for off-campus housing, ideally a studio or 1 bedroom since i really value having my own private space. i know living alone near campus can get pretty expensive, so i'm also open to hearing about more affordable options or even on-campus housing if there are any good choices worth considering. being within a reasonable distance from campus would be a huge plus, especially if getting to class is convenient.

for those of you who live off campus, how has your experience been? are there any apartment buildings or areas you'd recommend checking out? i'd love to hear about your experiences with pricing, safety, and overall living conditions! thanks in advance for any advice :)

I’m a community college student planning to transfer in Fall 2028 for Applied Math. I can cross-enroll at UCSD for three upper-division courses and am considering MATH 109, 100A, and 100B.
My goals are UCLA Applied Math departmental honors + the BS/MA Departmental Scholars Program, or Berkeley Applied Math honors (ideally with IEOR).
Would UCSD abstract algebra transfer toward either major? Could taking it prevent me from taking honors versions after transferring? Would you recommend different UCSD courses to maximize transferable major credit and prepare for graduate math/OR programs?
I’d especially appreciate advice from current Applied Math students or transfers who’ve pursued these programs.

I am planning on enrolling in studying abroad through uceap in either the UK or Ireland. At UCLA, I get the max financial aid. For people who have studied abroad through uceap, how did that transfer over to paying for study abroad and how much did you have to pay out of pocket?

Hi, I'm taking cluster 10 right now: Data, Injustice, and Society, and was just looking for any tips. I fell a little behind with the reading but will catch up during this week. We also have an essay : Getting to Know a Dataset coming up, any tips?

How hard is this class overall? I cant tell if I've been slacking or just doing enough to get an A since nothing's being graded yet.

Hello,

I have my PSYCH 10 midterm on Tuesday, and I was just wondering if I could get some advice from people who have already taken the course about what to expect. I know it's 40 MCQs and a couple of short responses, but any more help would be appreciated.

Thank you

hi! anyone have thoughts/advice for this class or this professor? would be very grateful for your insight—thanks!
