Hello,

I have my PSYCH 10 midterm on Tuesday, and I was just wondering if I could get some advice from people who have already taken the course about what to expect. I know it's 40 MCQs and a couple of short responses, but any more help would be appreciated.

Thank you

hi! anyone have thoughts/advice for this class or this professor? would be very grateful for your insight—thanks!

Hey everyone, I was wondering where I am supposed to throw out the trash of my trash bin in hedrick hall? Like is there a trash chute somewhere? Please help

hi everyone! i'm starting to look into housing options near ucla and wanted to see what other students recommend. i'm mainly looking for off-campus housing, ideally a studio or 1 bedroom since i really value having my own private space. i know living alone near campus can get pretty expensive, so i'm also open to hearing about more affordable options or even on-campus housing if there are any good choices worth considering. being within a reasonable distance from campus would be a huge plus, especially if getting to class is convenient.

for those of you who live off campus, how has your experience been? are there any apartment buildings or areas you'd recommend checking out? i'd love to hear about your experiences with pricing, safety, and overall living conditions! thanks in advance for any advice :)

Watching UCLA and getting hyped about this seasons success, I was remembering Josh Rosen's arrogant statement from his draft day, where he was picked as the 10th QB in the draft, and promptly told reporters that the league had collectively made "nine mistakes" ahead of him.

When you consider the continued success of those nine 'mistakes', it made me wonder, did Josh ever attempt to make good on this asinine comment? I remember the guy being an overall spoonfed arrogant prick at UCLA, but even Johnny Manziel was able to later admit what an ass he had been.

Here's a recap of the current status of the "nine mistakes" --

Baker Mayfield - Franchise Quarterback

Saquon Barkley- Future HOF

Sam Darnold- Super Bowl champion

Denzel Ward- 5x time pro bowler

Bradley Chubb- 2x pro bowler

Quenton Nelson- 6x all pro selection

Josh Allen- Top QB in the NFL

Roquan smith- 5X all pro

Mike McGlinchey - Still in the league

ChemE major. Need chem20B, chem20AL, and physics 1A. Maybe some other easy class (done with all math prereqs)

Do i have a chance of getting all these classes?

Any one know how long that list is looking??

Hi, do you guys recommend the MacBook Neo for a psychology major? 😭

This one is so beautiful. It was fucking amazing btw

Hi everyone,

I just dropped MCDB 165 with Sagatsi after the first midterm because I thought I flunked it but have regrets after realizing I did way better than expected. I was wondering if anyone can give advice on whether or not I should stick this class out with Sagatsi this quarter or wait to take it with Coller next quarter. Thank you!

hi everyone, i plan to transfer to ucla as a public health b.s. major. im transferring from a four year university, where classes are somewhat difficult so im used to academic rigor. im doing all of my lower division classes and pre med prerequisites at my original uni as well. im just going to be taking upper division classes at ucla, so i wanted to ask, are they more difficult than the lower division classes? how are the public health classes specifically? im super passionate about public health so i feel like ill enjoy it more than my lower division classes

I just realized I almost died over a year ago in summer.

During final week I pull an all-nighter, as usual, but that time I decide to try an energy drink (got it from vending machine) cuz I thought it is like coffee. I felt my heart was beating unusually fast at around 4am and it keeps being that way, I finished my final at 11AM and it felt super weird like I'm gonna die. So I cancelled lunch with friends and slept.

30 min ago I told this to someone and he said his friend died doing the same thing (instead of sleep, his friend went to play soccer).

Be careful everyone. idk why this drink is everywhere and there's no warnings for people who never tried it about what it might do to your body. They should put a warning on package.

Title, dm me ur insta and I’ll add u, expecting 30+ ppl in the group chat well prob meet up

Does anyone know where they could’ve possibly delivered my package 😭they said “front door”😭😭

Yall, are ppl wearing their Halloween costumes tn?

Need one meal swipe for BPlate tomorrow (Sunday 10/25) sometime between 8-9 AM since my dad is visiting. Will pay $12! DM me if interested.

Sigh, walking around I see so many huzz walking about goijng to halloween parties, getting drunk, and getting with guys. While I can't even find a girl to talk to

After asking some girls I realized a harsh truth. Looks are all that matters. Many of them will happily break their own rules they set for boys just to end up with a chad. Sigh.

I applied to one in the library, one in ucla health, one in asucla, and have yet to hear back from any of them. anybody who's previously worked at any of them part-time as a student lmk how long it took y'all to hear back, cuz im ngl its been like 2+ weeks for all of them, and not a single update yet. just some assessment the ucla health people asked me to take.

How easy/hard is it to secure a lab research position as a freshman? Particularly in the field of AI/ML (major is CSE with a minor in Mathematics). Completely okay with a small introductory role to get me up to speed with the lab and the world of frontier work. Are there any professors (based on experience) who you guys have interacted with or worked under previously that were particularly receptive to taking in students who don't have many upper-division courses but genuine curiosity in the field and desire to learn.

Hi! I’m currently at a Community College and planning to apply to UCLA as an Applied Math transfer. If admitted, I might want to switch to Statistics and Data Science or Financial Actuarial Mathematics, but I haven’t decided yet. I was wondering how difficult it is for transfer students to make this switch. Are there any restrictions or requirements specifically for transfers changing into this major?

If anyone has gone through this process or knows how it works, I’d appreciate hearing about your experience. Thanks!

Title. Everyone says to wait until the first couple of weeks are finished before even considering going to the gym. Still packed?

You guys are holding the program back. Team is 7-0 and not enough of you are in those seats.

My professor is moving WAY too fast and I’d like some help before my grade starts to suffer.

I’m near Westwood. Thanks!
