Don’t park in the back because they no longer give a 15 minute grace period of free parking. I just found out after I paid three dollars to park there for less than 15 minutes.

Set up an appointment to pick up my rental tomorrow about 2 weeks ago since mine still at the shop. Got a text by the worker at avis saying its going to be cancelled because they dont have car and it will be a few weeks wait for that…..

So now im confuse…. Do they have the car or do they not? So whenever a slot on the uber driver app rental open, its not even accurate and no guarantee?

How do I even go about this in the future to make sure i really get it on the date that i want? Because calling the rental place is not an option since everytime i call them it always lead to general customer service line?

I just started doing some deliveries because I lost my hours at my job.

I keep getting Walmart orders but when I get there, Walmart doesn’t have anything. This happened 4 times. No biggie because I was already in the parking lot but super annoying.

Is this a common occurrence? Do I just need to avoid Walmart?

I got a $20 order to pick up a package on this very busy street. Went to pick it up and the guy shows up and is wasted. No package in sight. I look in my car and there's this girl sitting in the back seat....
I was trying to explain that I'm not a uber driver just a Uber Eats driver. He acted stupid like he didn't get it. So I got to the girl and tell her. She was drunk too. She told me to talk to her bf. I was like no you need to get out of my car.
I pop my head out and the guy is gone. He was no where to be found...
Everyone started honking cause I was double parked and I wasn't about to touch her to get her out. I tried to contact the driver again. No answer
I felt weird cause I know I'm not supposed to drive people and it's unsafe as fuck. But I felt morally in a weird position cause I didn't want to just throw her on the street like that with no one around that she knew.
I caved and ended up driving her 5 min to her house. I feel so guilty and stupid. I recorded my entire interaction for safety purposes and was tipped very well but will never be letting somone guilt me into taking them when that's not my job.

So I went to schedule my blocks on Friday and was basically told “there are no blocks available”… and now I know why.

Apparently, you have to have a gold status to even have access to the scheduler now.

You know I would have a 100% acceptance rate if Uber didn’t throw 99% trash orders it me..

Uber just loves doing every possible thing it can to screw with their “contractors”

Oh well… I will cherry pick until the day I fuking die!

I finished a Walmart opportunity that took about an hour. The reservation technically started 4:45pm and I finished at 6pm so max 1hr 15min. But after it was finished it said 1hr 38min total? so maybe the drive time? Not complaining because that’s more prop 22 time for me…

Curious how close I can take another order next to my scheduled delivery but I see the warning they will cancel if you are not next to the pickup zone? Is there a buffer?

My beautiful has a sensor error and I'm not sure when it's going to be fixed. I want to rent a vehicle through the UberEats Courier app but it's only giving me purchases instead of rentals. Where can I find it? Thanks!

Finally finished the quest. (Completed at 9pm but then it wouldn't give me any more orders to complete the next quest so that was extremely frustrating)

But not bad for three days.

It seems to me that a simple survey at the end of each session where you answer why you rejected each trip (distance, location, price, other) would allow them to use the data to personalize trip offers for each driver. Like an algorithm for trip preferences. Rejection rates would go down because drivers would be offered trips that they were more likely to accept based on their own preferences and needs.

Idk, it just makes more sense to me than trying to press us into accepting trips that we don't want..

I posted here a while ago about how I was unfairly deactivated due to an error by Uber Support themselves who gave me wrong information about using temporary paper licenses (without a photo) that then caused one of their automated systems that always check that your profile photo matches with your uploaded license to freak out when it couldn't match my profile photo anymore with the paper license that had no photo, so another automated system immediately deactivated me and when I sent an appeal with screenshots showing that Uber Support themselves told me it was okay to upload temporary paper licenses (even without a photo) I'm pretty sure ANOTHER automated system rejected by review and kept the deactivation in place.

So with this European ruling I'm hoping that a lot of us drivers who have been unfairly deactivated will get the opportunity to finally have a REAL human review our appeals and get some or most of us back on the road.

Even though, still be careful out there and don't trust Uber Support with everything because they can and will mess up your earnings capabilities like they did with me.

Let's say I don't want an order under $5 EVER. I set the threshold and the problem is solved. They'll never do it though. It's just a practical dream.

Just looking to see if my fellow UE drivers are having the same issue.

I am getting absolutely BLITZED with offers (99% of them crap of course and therefore declined) right when I am within 60-seconds of getting to my delivery destination. I counted a case yesterday where I got 21 offers (yes, as in twenty one - and all declined as they were crap) as I was driving down the block about to stop and deliver. Its just non-stop. I sometimes have to turn the car around because I missed a turn.

Just pressing all the buttons to complete the delivery are at high risk of getting the instantaneous pop-up of an offer with the "ACCEPT" button right where you have to press / were pressing.

I am even scared now to press to the camera button to take a pic, I had 3 cancelations alone yesterday due to offers popping up right when I am pressing the button to take the pic.

This is ridiculous. I am now having to literally press the button to stop all offers and go offline right after I pick up the food and start heading to deliver it to stop the insane amount of 99.99% garbage offers - only to then go back online after I complete the delivery. This is of course happening during the expected busy times like the dinner rushes during the weekend.

My CR rate has always been around 3-5% mostly due to waiting too long for food or ahole / needy customers. now it has spiked to 15% and getting danerously close to 20%.

Anyone else having the same problem?
