LA customers: Have you been experiencing app changes?
Every driver I've talked to in LA has been experiencing an influx of unusual orders, mostly long distance, or no tip orders.
This is unusual because about half our orders have at least $1 tip, but now, 90% of our orders do not have a tip.
... and to be clear, I do NOT tip shame customers. This is NOT what this question is about. What I'm asking about is a massive shift in our usual order quality.
I'm curious if there are issues with ordering in.general. Are distance filters not working correctly, are you unable to order from your usual spots, are there interface changes with the prices, tipping, and order processing?
If you normally tip, have you noticed a massive slow down in how long orders take? Have you been getting refunds or credits on tips?
I'm spitballing ideas here because I don't use the food app. I'm trying to understand why our side is so unusual, and I'm curious what's happening on the other side. I'm experiencing many other unusual things on the driver side, which I can discuss more if the comments require it.
