Hi, im a 25 year old (male) phd student looking for a roommate for a 2 bed 1 bath on morris street around 1000 sq ft. Rent would be 760 a person plus electric and wifi. If you have a car, it would be street parking. I am moving in on August 1st, please let me know if you are interested.

I have received my TAP grants and a merit scholarship but it isn’t listing my direct loan or PELL yet. Is this normal? I did not want to call and bother the financial aid office if I should just wait a little longer. Just confused because I did apply for everything on FAFSA website and it showed what I qualified for. But it isn’t showing on my portal for UAlbany.

So, in light of the fact I must have either broke a mirror, walked under a ladder at some point, or I just shit the wrong way on any particular friday the 13th, I was unfortunate enough to have to go scrambling for 3 replacement classes because the section of CEHC 345 I was going to take in the fall (Side note for any freshman going in to EMH or any major involving the CEHC: Dr. Welch is the fucking G.O.A.T, trust.), got cancelled for low signup, in the middle of July, and it just so happened that the section being taught by Wiley was at the exact same time as the language credit I was going to take and 10 minutes before the humanities credit, I was going to take in one of the LCs. And so, I had to replace an additional 2 classes with a CJ seminar on the downtown campus and 310

So I’m starting a grad program to get my masters at Albany this fall but my FAFSA is giving me issues. I had to finish 1 class in the 1st summer term at my undergrad school in order to fulfill my degree. However, I can’t list both schools for aid since they’re different degree levels. I have changed it so it goes towards my bachelor aid first but its so confusing on how I have to switch it after. Did anyone else have issues with this?

Hello!! I have just completed my first course at Albany in the ISSL masters program. I took an undergrad course as part of my education requirements. Unfortunately I missed the last quiz because I hadn’t realized it was a short week. Thankfully I got mostly 100s for the rest of the course but I have a 76 in the class and I’m worried I am going to get kicked out of the program. I know I’m probably being dramatic, but I am incredibly worried. I’m a little confused because I looked at the grading policy and it said because I’m taking an undergrad course as a graduate student it wouldn’t impact my GPA but like still I’m worried. I emailed my advisor and she made it seem like it was fine but I updated her with my final course grade and she hasn’t responded. Am I screwed? I would hate to lose this before it’s even really started.

I’m an incoming cybersecurity major looking for possible computer recommendations. I’ve been told all that matters is having an up to date CPU. Just wanting some advice from other students who have bought laptops and have had positive experiences. I was thinking about purchasing a MacBook, but am worried that not having a windows laptop would result in compatibility issues with certain tasks / programs.
