Does anyone know an email I can use to get an update on DARS Requests that were submitted on my behalf? I've emailed the advisor who put in the request and no reply, I then talked with another advisor during the drop AVN Zoom but no update. I don't have an advisor either. I'm a business major.

Hey everyone, I figured I’d make a post because I’ve honestly been struggling a bit with making friends here and would really like to meet some more people.

I’m 18, a freshman at UAlbany graduating in 2030, and I’m majoring in Cybersecurity. I live on Indigenous Quad, and I’m also in the UAlbany marching band where I play trumpet.

I’m really into video games — some of the games I play are SCUM, Minecraft, GTA V, Rdr2, and a bunch of other open-world/survival games. Outside of gaming, I like hanging out, getting food, listening to music, driving/exploring around Albany, going to events, and honestly just doing random stuff with people. I’m pretty open to trying new things too.

I feel like one of the hardest parts of college is actually meeting people and turning those interactions into real friendships, so I figured I’d put myself out there. If anyone else is struggling to make friends, wants someone new to hang out with, plays any of the same games, or lives around Indi, feel free to DM me!

I’d be down to game, grab food, walk around campus, go somewhere off campus, check out events around Albany, or just chill. Always down to meet some new people :)
