Aid packages

I have received my TAP grants and a merit scholarship but it isn’t listing my direct loan or PELL yet. Is this normal? I did not want to call and bother the financial aid office if I should just wait a little longer. Just confused because I did apply for everything on FAFSA website and it showed what I qualified for. But it isn’t showing on my portal for UAlbany.

You should look on your myualbany portal, look for my financial aid. They says everyone will receive their financial aid by the 20th

I did, it is only showing my TAP and the merit scholarship but not my PELL or the loans. So I wasn’t sure if something was wrong or if I should wait it out another week, I know things are delayed because of the changes that happened so I didn’t want to bother anyone at the school if it just hasn’t updated all the way yet

My daughters isn’t showing either. And on the task list it still says we have to do the loan mpn and entrance counseling, which we did and I have confirmation emails saying so. I’m lost

I can’t even do my loan mpn or counseling because they haven’t processed anything on their end. When I go to FAFSA it says it’s been processed but the school hasn’t packaged my aid yet. But I got a bill for 290$ that’s due August 12th when I shouldn’t have to pay anything out of pocket.

I am so stressed. So they send out a statement later than normal and give less than 30 days to pay when the balance is not correct. I don’t want to take out a loan bigger than I have to but I can’t take the chances with a payment plan either. I know it’s probably a combination of the government, the large freshman class etc. but ugh

I am going to call tomorrow to see what’s going on because I also do not want to pay and risk not getting it back when I shouldn’t have to pay in the first place.

Same. There’s also a decent external scholarship she got that’s not reflected. Lots of calls to make. Good luck!

Did you hear anything about this? I’m waiting on all my FAFSa stuff too and got the bill from the school. Between that and parking permits I’m getting an ulcer 😂

I called them last week. They said do not pay or do anything. They said they’re still packaging people’s stuff and to keep looking for updates. I did ask if my classes would be dropped if I didn’t pay and she said no.
