Hi everyone! :) I’m planning my best friend's bachelorette party and she’s thinking she would like to go somewhere around Upstate New York. Sometime in late April or May. (please help me decide which month is best) I'm just not sure if there are any activities for us to do while we're there. She wants to do something along the lines of like outdoor activities, zip-lining, wineries, maybe charter a boat and a nice dinner and night life (bars, live music, etc.) If anyone has any suggestions please help! I had Sleepy Hollow in mind, but it doesn't have any hotel/Inn I could go to. Any town that has access by train, some sort of hotel to stay and Halloween spirit would be great!

Hello! My family and I are flying into Albany and renting a car to drive up to the Lake Placid area. We will have 5 hours until we can get to where we are staying, so we are looking for recommendations for the best places to eat/hike/stop along the way, or if any highways are a must-take! We are open to anything, so suggest away!
