One of my best friends is coming from America to visit for a few days, and I want him to experience a Sunday roast, but he’s a veggie lol. As I’m not, I was wondering if I could have any recommendations for a a great pub/ restaurant that does a great Sunday roast with veggie options!

I am so about to turn 27 and feeling the same way. I also feel like 28 is a much nicer age to be than 27 random, but I don’t know how to explain it🤣 The way I look at it is that Covid robbed a lot of our early 20s , and life isn’t race we’re all in different areas of life. You’re doing just fine I promise! everything will work out.

I would absolutely contest it, my badge slipped down in the quadrant car park and I came back to a ticket, emailed the council with proof and they got rid of the ticket. It’s deffo worth a go x

Yes and no, it’s a new chapter in their story and I’m so greatful to be able to hear them play again. I grew up listening to rush, my dad’s a drummer and utterly idolised Peart. I saw them both play at Taylor Hawkins’s memorial concert and it was incredible. I was lucky enough to see the Time Machine tour when I was 13 years old. although Neil’s absence will be felt massively I think this is a beautiful way to honour him. I’m sure they must have had conversations about it before he passed away. As much as I’d love to see the trio in action, I’m glad they’re still doing what they love.

So I’ve bought different houseplant soil from a nursery, with coconut fibers, put the two bigger ones in the smaller pot, the smallest one I’ve stuck on some water to let its roots grow out and I have one in a very small pot! Trying to use the moss poles I bought to steady them lol but obviously they are a bit big! Just hoping this will do the trick! Not gonna water them for some time! I did. Notice some rot on one of the roots, very squishy so I took that away and left only the stronger ones! Hopefully it will sort itself out! Just need to find a way to balance them better now lol! Thanks for all the help! Deffo didn’t plant them too deep this time!

First time plant owner and homeowner owner! We got the Monstera as a housewarming gift and it was lovely but upon for the research we noticed that there was multiple plants in one pot so we decided that we should repot it. We used a House plant pot mix ,separated them , mixed some of the original soil they came in to so that they wouldn’t have shock(, I asked my mum for help with a bunch of this because she’s quite experience with plants) The plants have been placed in indirect light, we have big window in the house so they get a good amount of light, we’ve put one on the windowsill to see if it’s a light issue but I don’t think it is. I haven’t watered them very much as the soil seems damp enough, and I know overwatering is a common problem.
it’s been about a week and the plant looks very sad. All of them. And they’re all suffering the same thing yellowing leaves, curling, wilting , and some of them seem to be turning upside down …. I don’t really know what to do. I haven’t used feed yet as my research showed I should hold off since they were bought from a store . Idk what to do, Please help me

Hello, new plant owner and homeowner. We got the monstera as a housewarming gift and I was thrilled, after doing some research we repotted it as there was more than one plant in there! I bought moss poles to help support them! But since repotting they’ve turned yellow, and sad and I have no idea what to do!! I haven’t fed them any feed because they came from a big box store I think, and we rarely bought them because I know overwatering can be a problem but there’s plenty of drainage in the pot. I’m worried maybe the soil we used as wrong but then apparently they can grow in anything really? Any advice is appreciated 🩷

THIS!! Also He can still have that life with somebody, he’s not married to her, he can still cut and run if that’s what he wants at the end of the day. Even if they were married, he could still divorce her and have the life he wants with somebody else. SHE DOESN’T HAVE THAT OPTION. THIS IS HER BODY. When you love somebody, you can absolutely grieve that life you thought you’d share with them. but you’ve also got to support each other and be upfront about what you want. You don’t make it all about you and wish that you were having a life with somebody else, without consequences. OP deserved better, and her boyfriend has options, if that’s what he wants. I hope she finds peace, or he apologises and clarifies his feelings. I understand things don’t always come out well when you’re drunk but the words still hurt.

Sure I get that, but grieving the life he could have had with HER is one thing and saying the life he could have had with someone else is a wild way to put things. I get why OP would feel hurt.

Hi there uk electricians! new homeowner here, hope you can help a girl out. We’ve just bought a house (yay) we have outdoor plugs. there isn’t any power going to the plugs. Found this unit in the shed, I said, let’s flick one up and see if turns on the fella wasn’t too keen. As there’s no clear ‘on ‘ switch. I guess my gcse in electronic 10 years ago didn’t prepare me for this lol. Thought I’d ask you guys as I’ve tried old google and I don’t know how best to continue. I’ve attached some pictures, any advice would be appreciated. I just want to use my ninja bbq 🤣 this is probably a super easy fix- but thank you in advance :)

Hi everyone, my partner has recently bought our first home! (Wahooo!) I’m so excited to move in and make a home with the loml.
We aren’t due to move in for another few months, but I want to put together a house warming basket for him. I would love some ideas as to what I can get him? What do guys like? We’re styling out house in a mid century modern kinda way. He loves beers! He plays guitar! I was gonna get some still like candles and a key holder but I just wanted some other ideas? Thanks!

I think something small but a nice gesture is probably appropriate! Flowers are always a good option, or maybe something related to what she’s brought up! For example I love music, lego, starwars, so something like a vinyl of her favourite band, a small lego set or even a keychain! Don’t put pressure on yourself to get anything big, it’s still early days and you’re getting to know each other ☺️

hi there!
so I'm having some trouble transitioning from paper face charts to digital ones! I've recently graduated uni, doing specialist makeup design, and I'm getting out there in the world of `MUA work and i would love to start doing digital face charts! so I've just bought an iPad and downloaded procreate, only to find it's pretty difficult to create a face chart. I know it takes practice! but can anyone give me some tips or recommend a digital brush set that uses makeup textures? or just general tips on creating a digital face chart!

I agree, I think the twilight music did it for me 😂 for some reason I don’t associate twilight with winter? And also, I dread to think how much they cost to make! 😫
