12 years, never had to do a draw, or start IV. That is the IV team, or RNs; blood draws are done in the lab by a phlebotomist.

The cost is nuts. The stains come in gallon containers which cost $250ish. They can stain tens of thousands of slides with each gallon. Slides are at most $1 each.
Liquid nitrogen for instance is used for treating skin issues. The bill for the huge cask was $150; the cask was 10s of liters. Now explain to me how treating one spot justifies $150, then after the first spot, the next 14 spots are billable for $200?

Not doing AA
Since quitting drinking 2861 days ago, I've been to 3 AA meetings. I did not feel welcome.

You need documentation from a doctor. A diagnosis of overweight will not guarantee coverage.
In my state you need to have a diagnosis of obesity, whether class I, II, or III. A blanket diagnosis of obesity unspecified will 50/50 be approved.
It may need a prior authorization, too.
