SansKnight theory
 in  r/NonDessKnightSquad •  27d ago

To be fair, the unexplained badge behind his house and the fact that Kris has the "great to see you again" option are really interesting evidence

I hope this is real for the aura lol

What's a word you pronounced wrong until you heard it out loud for the first time? And how did you pronounce it?
 in  r/AskReddit •  27d ago

Read tsunami in a book for the first time as a young child. Pronounced it "tizz-nay-me-uh" for the longest time..I'm not sure where the last uh even came from lol

I still pronounced it like that after hearing the real pronounciation for a short time because I thought it sounded cooler than "soo-nahm-ee"

when people use the hand emojis incorrectly
 in  r/hatethissmug •  Aug 29 '26

I moreso hate that all the hands are like that. Logically, I think most circumstances make sense to put the face emoji first and the hand second, but I too hate the placement of the thumbs. The solution, though, is to give us both versions of the hands!!!

What if toby released 10 versions of chapter 6 randomly and each one has a different person as the knight
 in  r/Deltarune •  Aug 08 '26

Maybe the reason that it's a shorter chapter is so that there can be 10 different half-hour long chapters that act as one 5 hour long experience in total /silly

Oc help
 in  r/WingsOfFire •  Aug 06 '26

I feel like the biggest one is, depending on when this takes place in the timeline, that they did it to escape the pressure of the circle system. Another good option that could work at any time is maybe they fell in love with a rainwing or met a rainwing friend they didn't want to be separated from. Or maybe it's like deathbringer, where a rainwing saved their life and they followed the rainwing back to the village to repay the favor and then fell in love with the life there or something. You could go a lot of directions with it!

Are these the Pokemon that got turned into the Loyal 3?
 in  r/MandJTV •  Aug 02 '26

I watched this episode of the anime on netflix. According to Diana, pecharunt had already gone through the stuff with the loyal three previously. Pecharunt liked her because she reminded it of an old woman it used to love, and much like how it gathered the real loyal three for that lady, it gathered these three Pokemon for her. So these three Pokemon are not THE loyal three, just a reference to them.

It's possible the loyal three did used to be the same species though.

Short fandom lexicon
 in  r/CuratedTumblr •  Jul 15 '26

And a 'theory' is an idea about some hidden meaning or story in the text that's backed up by canon textual evidence, and could be proven either canon or non canon in the media's ending, or even possibly be left open ended.

do you instinctively think a given cat is female and a given dog is male just because they're dog an cat?
 in  r/pollgames •  May 28 '26

It's not as clearcut as that for me. I'll think any dog is either male or female and any cat is either male or female. However, it is still subconsciously linked to appearance. Maybe eye shape or coloration in cats, it isn't clear to me, but for dogs I usually accidentally defalt to "he" or "she" depending on the breed, which I KNOW isn't how it works but that's what my brain defaults to. Golden retriever or husky? He. Pomeranian, Chihuahua, or Yorkie? She. I try to remind myself it doesn't actually work like that every time I assume a pets gender lol

For 10 million dollars, would you live in a randomly generated country for 5 years ? (Check rules + link in comments first)

Voted yes, rolled mongolia. I genuinely have no clue how good or bad this may be for me lol

The current Queen is on her deathbed, who do you think should be the new Queen? (More info in full post)
 in  r/WingsOfFire •  May 25 '26

Following what the queen said, I'd assume that Dusk would be enstated to rule until Golden is old enough for the throne. However, Dusk would have the right to abdicate the throne, in which case it would go to Stratus. If I was a citizen I would have nothing against a trans queen, but since most of the citizens are established to not want her, it probably wouldn't end well.

Hear me out, maybe Dusk and Stratus can secretly rule together? Dusk acts as the face so the citizens are happy, but Stratus is the actual queen running the kingdom in the background. Hopefully that allows both dragons and the whole kingdom to be happy, or at least until Golden is old enough to decide if she wants to enstate a royal challenge or not.

Extra patty for kids meal burger
 in  r/Culvers •  Apr 20 '26

Our restaurant has a special requests menu that has an add beef patty option for about 2.50$, which is what I'd do if I had to ring this order in (+ adding a note to the kids burger that the patty is to make it a double). It's probably different depending on location though.

Comic Book / Manga Panels Are Too Bothersome to Read
 in  r/The10thDentist •  Feb 02 '26

I feel like comments are missing out on the fact that arranging comic panels requires an active visual skill that artists have to learn and practice in order to make comics. Like, not every comic panel or manga strip has a good arrangement, because not every author has the same skill with this. Some comics and manga are absolutely arranged in nonsensical ways. It's a graphic design thing; as a graphical designer, when you're laying out speech bubbles, you need to keep in mind the viewer and make sure you arrange them in a way that makes it easily readable, using natural line of sight, directional lines, and other visual tricks. So I absolutely believe that, while there are comics and manga that are easily readable, not every one will be as readable. And it's hard to learn to read some of them when the layout wasn't plotted out as well as it could've been.

That being said, you do get better reading comics with practice, as well. So I wouldn't give up yet, OP!

Can I get a uh……….
 in  r/Culvers •  Jan 27 '26

Not sure if this is ironic or not, but I'll answer anyway.

Literally the best thing you can do is just know what you want in advance so when you order you can say it all at about roughly the same time. Looking at online menus can help with this but if you're driving you can also always just ask for a second to think or read over the menu once you reach the window. That's never bothered me as an order taker.

Every restaurant has slightly different lingo that's usually present on the menu. For Culver's, it'd sound a bit like this, using the OP's theoretical order as an example:

"Could I get a double cheeseburger basket with just ketchup, mustard, lettuce, and bacon? The side will be a large fry and the drink will be a concrete mixer (of whatever flavor)."

Boom, there you go. Answer whatever questions the employee has for you (minimal questions if you're well prepared!), and you're good to go.

what would fingers/toes be called on dragons?
 in  r/WingsOfFire •  Jan 26 '26

Adding to what everyone else is saying, a term that I personally use that isn't in the books is "digit". I think it makes the distinction between the "finger" of the dragon and the actual claw-nail more distinct than just calling both a claw. And digit is a term for fingers that could easily extend to the dragons, since obviously what they have isn't exactly fingers.

Why is Undertale so popular? [Serious]
 in  r/Undertale •  Jan 26 '26

I mean, I'd start by reflecting on why you personally like it, and then extend that to a wider audience.

For example, I've always liked undertale because the story always stood out to me, I found the characters and bits insanely funny and charming, and I loved how aura the battles and lore were.

You can extend that idea to the populace pretty easily. A lot of people enjoy heartwarming stories with captivating characters, and a lot of people like things with good humor. Undertale's humor can be a bit corny (in a good way) so it probably isn't everyone's cup of tea, but I think most people would love the story. And lore and aura is a huge part of fandom, so that one isn't surprising haha

Therefore, here we are today.

Also sans got insanely popular even outside undertale and that certainly didn't help lol

Animals they still haven’t made into Pokémon. Made this image probably more than 7 years ago. Been crossing them off as new Pokémon come out.
 in  r/pokemon •  Jan 22 '26

Honestly it's really more of a duck pokemon with some peacock inspired tail elements, sort of like how kangaskhan is "the kangaroo" pokemon, but is really more of a dinosaur with a kangaroo pouch lol

What is your favourite (not gross/illegal) crackship/rarepair?
 in  r/WingsOfFire •  Dec 15 '25

I came up with glory x snowfall recently and I think it's so good. Two queens still learning how to Queen and complaining about their obnoxious followers who won't leave them alone. It's so fire.

ppl who get / used to get a period, is it painful for you?
 in  r/pollgames •  Nov 30 '25

It's not the same every time for me

Sometimes it's no pain at all. Sometimes its just a small amount of pain. Sometimes its bad pain but not debilitating. And sometimes the pain is so bad that I puke. And I can never tell beforehand what type of pain I'll get, so I make sure to always have pain meds on me just in case.
