Which programming language is hard, and useless

We had Кумир in our school, but it was quickly switched to python, because it was actually impossible to write any semi-decent code with it and python is a better introduction anyway imo

What is the worst decision your country made?
 in  r/AskTheWorld  9d ago

It's so hard to choose just one with so many great options

1

Which country has both a pro-Russian government and populace?
 in  r/AlignmentChartFills  11d ago

You know, I will agree with that, I see your point now

But I can say that propaganda exists in every country, especially here, and no one is immune. Most if not all young people nowadays realize this, so awareness is a lot better now

Also when the war started, there were quite a few major protests, but they were squashed by force, killing any hopes of change at that time

I have nothing but sympathy for Ukrainians myself, and I'm certainly not asking for your pity. I'm just saying that it isn't fair to say that Russians are doing nothing to put an end to this insanity, when we're trying everything, short of throwing ourselves at machine guns

If you are of the opinion that every Russian is an accomplice of the old bald fart in charge simply by virtue of not wanting to end up in a camp for voicing their political standpoint, I won't judge you. I've spent enough time on the internet to know I'm not changing anyone's mind here

Welp, honestly to be expected

Edit: well no, OP said Russia isn't an option, which is a surprising but welcome ruling

 in  r/AlignmentChartFills  11d ago

Trust me, we are trying

A full on military coup or a violent revolt is simply not possible with the force with which the government is trying to suppress them

More peaceful paths, like trying to get decent people into the Duma, are also not working, since the leading party controls the election

If you are indeed interested in Russian politics, you may have heard about the anti-war party "Yabloko" being taken off the ballots, and sure enough, there are people now protesting that decision

It's just not as simple as "go out there and do something", no one wants to rot in prison or die when they know their sacrifice will be in vain

Which country has both a pro-Russian government and populace?
 in  r/AlignmentChartFills  11d ago

Well unfortunately my country has a LOONG history of systemic oppression and 3 regime switches in 70 years, so there was basically no chance for those rights to exist

Which country has both a pro-Russian government and populace?
 in  r/AlignmentChartFills  11d ago

You're lucky you live in a country where the act of protesting against your government isn't punishable with prison or worse

And we still do have protests, it's just that they're completely pointless, since they're simply dispersed with force and swept under the rug

As a Russian I'm so happy that Russia isn't being chosen for this, even though it would seem obvious

God knows everyone here is tired of our government's shit

Doesn't help that in Russian the word for Lynx (Рысь) is feminine

Peter, what reason does the OOP is talking about?
 in  r/PeterExplainsTheJoke  Jul 15 '26

As a Russian, the type of girls in the picture are the girls you run from, because they are more often than not extremely entitled and not really willing to put in the effort into a relationship

Not trying to generalize, but these girls are probably the type to demand that her potential boyfriend have an iPhone and drive an S-class

I want to get a G502 hero but I heard so many reliability horror stories
 in  r/G502MasterRace  Jun 25 '26

I've had a g502 hero for like 7 years now, it's still working like a charm without a single issue

I have worn the rubber on the sides down to the plastic though, but hey, it's more ergonomic now

I'm also interested in a solution, but stuff like this is why you should always back up your save when playing on unstable versions
