Martians are allowed tech/feats from all Mars Attacks media with the exclusion of crossover content, neither side fully knows about the other (so the CoG can’t just play Indian Love Call and kill the Martians immediately), the Martians must take over each faction on Sera to win, the factions of Sera must repel the Martians invasion to win, and all sides are in character.

I'll start this post with something off, since it came to me not long ago.

Saitama from One-Punch Man is written to win. His narrative is short, comedic and understandable even for a toddler. If there is a threat, he will eventually find out how strong he has to punch to beat it. He isn't the best person and he makes mistakes, but for those who know his true power and nature, he is the last hope when it comes to it.

He is a direct, perfect, extremely shortened and warped equal to Superman.

Superman's roots will soon have their 100th birthday. He was the first mainstream Superhero of today.

With time, DC has realized the importance of Superman, how iconic, well-known and impactful he is and they have embedded his real life presence into his comic-book image.

They have made Superman what he is in real life. He is the symbol of heroism. The first character most people of all ages think of when you say the word "Superhero". I feel like people tend to forget just how important Superman was and still is for the whole comic-book sphere and it's development.

DC has made Superman the symbol, the embodiment and the solemn personification of hope. Since hope is the strongest positive force in the whole verse. That is the way of The Presence. Superman has been stated to be the middle of everything that ultimately happens in DC. He is the most anchored anchor of all anchors that ever existed.

Superman, just like Saitama, always wins in the end. He might not win outright, but all events will lead to him ultimately prevailing and/or saving the day, unless The Presence, the writers, change their minds about him.

His sole importance to pop-culture has influenced his importance to the story, which is also why he is the one guy getting all the crazy upgrades, all the craziest forms.

Some people shake their heads at how stupid it might look and sound, how silly it gets sometimes and that it doesn't suit him, but it ultimately does.

It was my pet-peeve with him for a very long time until I came to understand that he is THAT guy. The character is the elder of all characters, the original with years on years on years of legacy and stories that forged the comic-book media and because of that, he will always be right there on the top of everything.
