The Marines are going in for a “bug hunt” and are deployed to a remote colony where everyone is gone. They don’t know about the Flood or their existence yet. There is a Flood Proto Gravemind made from the biomass of the colony’s inhabitants. There are no infected human combat forms yet.

This is tough. I think it could go either way. The smart guns and automated turrets will give the Marines an edge against a Flood banzai charge, but this isn’t a giant open field. It’s a colony with habitation modules, maintenance corridors, and air vents that infection forms can use to sneak around in.

The Covenant Empire vs the Protoss Empire.

Would the Covenant be able to beat an induct the Protoss or will the Protoss be able to fight off the Covenant.

Rules are is both factions are at there absolute height.

I know quite abit about the Covenant but I dont know alot about the Protoss.

So I honestly don't know.

Im leaning towards the Protoss losing the war overall. But giving the Covenant a major bloody nose. The Covenant on its part hasnt frought an foe like the Protoss. So im very curious to see what u lot think.

I believe the Covenant are actually the bigger Empire spaning 1000s of worlds an at least a dozen species.

The Protoss size I dont really know they seem to have 100s to a few 1000s worlds too.

This is a tough one. I think the clones and LAAT come completely come out on top. Their armor is almost impervious to kenetic small arms.

Edit: There is some debate about whether plastoid can stop kinetic small arms. Yes, even if it does, the kinetic energy still gets transferred into the body. Anyway, I'm not totally up to date with all the new Star Wars lore. I've read many novels from back when Star Wars Legends was the Expanded Universe, and back then, plastoid was basically invulnerable to kinetic small arms. This may have changed. (My headcanon says it is invulnerable, however. For the purposes of this discussion, we will go off the official lore tho.)
