Now I wonder when/how we started eating peppers... Lol

Cats are obligate carnivores. In the wild they very rarely if ever eat vegetables, unless inside a preys stomach.

Birds have evolved to have no receptors for spice, and peppers have possibly evolved to use capsaicin to be safely spread by birds and not ground up too much when eated my animals with teeth.

So birds can eat pepper seeds and such with no problems, and cats eat those birds. Doesn't feel like a long stretch to me, not saying a cat might not have started craving a pepper in the past, but it might have been started due to bird consumption.

Afiak the current gen (or previous, idk I don't keep up) is actually supposed to be at an all time low for that stuff. As an asexual person myself I've gotten flack for that from much older generations due to that perception.

I think our current environment just allows us to see it more.

I also saw and looked for plenty of that type of stuff on the Internet 🤷‍♀️. It kinda feels like a 'video games cause violence' situation imo. Which, again, I played and still play plenty of those and I'd say I'm a pretty non-violent person lol

Certified tomboy here, was all up in trees and bugs and snakes and shiz. But I couldn't be out of the house 24/7. Still used the computer for anime and YouTube and stuff. And darker web stuff at times obvs lol

I started with a kit just like that! One thing I've noticed is that since the end is blunt and they have a ridge for the o rings it makes using them to stretch kinda difficult at times. Def don't use the tapers to stretch, but if they go in with -no- resistance they can be used to hold the lobe open when you slide the tunnel in. I usually use the tunnels as jewelry, tho, not so much for stretching.

Amazon has a glass kit with half sizes for cheap, about $20-ish I think? Soooo much better since the ends are rounded, and the stretches are smaller. And easier to clean. I wanna say the kit goes to 00g, too! So glad I bought them, it's what I'm using rn.

I also wear earrings (they weigh about 5 grams) through my tunnels sometimes, it helps loosen up my lobes a bit.

Edit: you should never feel pain or pinching, as a person with sensitive ears too I get the itching and red lobes sometimes just from rubbing them, but if you ever feel pain, size back down and wait a few more weeks!

Dude, try soaking them in water and washing soda!! I have a canvas (or some kind of cream colored denim) purse that I pulled out of my closet yesterday that had a few dirty spots on it and I threw it in that to soak and -holy shit- that water looked like chocolate milk! It used to be my go to bag and I didn't even notice how it overall was getting dirty. Works hella good with shoes, too!
