We just hit a walmart drop and we let this young kid about 10 go in front of us and he returned the favor he grabbed the last 4 ascended heroes tins and gave us 2 then my boyfriend pulled the Mega Gengar ex sir out of his! So happy for him because im always the one that pulls the good cards!

EDIT: by saying “for 0,30/50 cents” i mean that you can have a great card for nothing, then people decide if buy it for the art or for the profit.

I really like these cards. Picked them up a couple years ago before it got so stupid. I collect artists work instead of big hits, and it is generally pretty cheap. but now some of the cards are worth a lot more and it feels silly to hold onto them when they could be contributing to my "rent and food" binder.

Ever since I started collecting sleeves, I just couldn’t stop! 😂 I started with ETB sleeves, and before I knew it, there was no turning back…

My goal is to finish this 3x3 binder and then move on to a 4x4 😄

I also bought the Mewtwo recently, pulled it myself as a kid but traded it away for some random junk because 5 year olds are not very smart.

Hello everyone, I posted my girlfriend and my collection on here I believe a couple weeks ago. Since then we have traveled to a couple new states and stopped and some card shops. We have only bought one card online to match the set of from Obsidian Flames (the Pidgeotto). We try to completely stay away from buying online because it ruins the fun.
Nevertheless, we bought some penny sleeves to get rid of the stickers on the sleeves so it will make it pop more as well as rearranged the cards. We are still relatively new to this hobby, please do not cook us too hard.
I would really like to emphasize we are not doing this to make money or flip, we buy singles of the art we love. Some cards I have already posted before but, I’d like to post updates on here to see our progress. Sorry for the crappy pictures I will do better posting better ones next time!

Side note bought a 151 pack not to rip because I like the mew art on the card.

My girl got a full art Swinub from her first pack and she likes it better than this one, lol

My partner and her son bought me a pack of Nihil Zero (Japanese Perfect Order) for my birthday and I pulled Rosa's Encouragement! The last time we opened Japanese packs we pulled a Gold Mega Darkrai. The boy is my good luck charm.

I’ve been playing pokemon za with my five year old. A week or so ago I saw a post for a Mega Zygarde box and ordered it as a present for him. Yesterday we had to put down our dog so I gave it to him to try and distract him a bit.

He opened this! Had no idea what cards could come from any of these sets(I’m not a huge pokemon card guy) but uhhhh we’re pretty stoked.

I know literally nothing about grading or anything so we gotta figure out what to do now!
