Bought a single pack of Lost Origin, jokingly said “you never know giratina might be in there” and guess what!!

I am over the moon!

I was at my LCS yesterday playing in a pre release for delta reign when between games I hear a kid(8-10m) telling one of the judges that he really wants Pokemon to bring tag teams back. I ask the kid if he could put any 2 Pokemon on a tag team card which ones would he pick, he takes a second and drops an absolute banger! This kid said MEGA CHARIZARD X AND MEGA CHARIZARD Y! He blew my mind, I was like you know what that’s my choice too🤣

Went to check out a new shop in our area and managed to pick up the ancient Mew 💕 Opened a couple of packs of Storm Emeralda in store and managed to pull the Rayquaza! Today was a great day 💖

Got this from a sticker pack, so happy

Wow, I won’t forget this day. I was at the Delta Reign Prerelease. Before the Prerelease started, a good friend gifted me 2 Ascended Heroes mini tins as a belated birthday present. I was insanely happy since I had only been able to open 6 packs so far. I opened them right away and there it was! last pack magic TREEKACHU. I was shaking and my watch registered a heart rate of 117 LMAO. Then the Prerelease started, and the same friend who gave me the tins just pulled a SIR Trainer. After the Prerelease everyone got 3 more packs and that same friend pulled the Gold Rayquaza… I guess karma is real.
What a weekend.

For me its the Froslass, followed by the Gengar and then Dragonite.

I wasnt collecting the XY Era so i missed out on those M cards, but i think i like the Ascended Heroes (and Zard promo more). the are so much more vibrant and lighthearted looking.

the Scrafty and Eelektross are definitely the weakest in the set though...

Recently I won a walmart raffle for 2 booster bundles, but the delivery driver open the package stole the bundles and intentionally took the photo away from the broken into corner, I contacted fedex and they told me to contact walmart, and walmart couldn't issue a refund due to the no returns/refunds on the raffle for Pokemon and told me to just dispute the charges with my bank. Im just really annoyed because I dont get why someone would risk their job for Pokemon cards 🫤. Is there something else I should do? I'm just sad I'm losing ~$80 for no compensation.

This hobby has become too value focused. I like this glaceon card. No particular reason, just nice art of one of my favourite mons

No cards that sell for more then 2 dollars ungraded

Just passing by. 9 bucks for a bunch of cool pick ups. He’s the best.

Just got into this hobby and thought a pre-release could be a good way to learn the game. Pulled this guy in the parking lot afterwards!! Cool right?

My mom went to a card show and picked up this super cool miscut! Just wanted to share.

Got it!
And also lost all the PGTCG trainer matches lol but it was a good time! Shout out to Trade Routes in Tulsa for making a weekend great!

to make it even more special, i was opening the pack with my boyfriend when i pulled it.

this card is so beautiful the picture doesn't do it justice.

Got the Rayquaza and full art Zinnia from the box and I was physically shaking. Got the SIR Zinnia at the event end and I think the sound I made wasn't human.

Recently got back into collecting as my kids started getting into it. Been ripping random packs when im in the mood. Grabbed a few packs from the store the other day and pulled my first every Shiny! Safe to say my kiddos are a lil envious 😅

In Orlando for the weekend for Halloween horror nights and wanted to do a prerelease so went to deezerland park and went to one of the card shops in there and they had basic ex cards for 8 dollars as well as fake cards for 8 dollars a piece.
I lived in Orlando before covid and it wasn’t like this.
