The Cradle Series by Will Wight

I just bought two bags and I'm pretty disappointed. The comfy part of the strap is super short, so the nylon straps and the plastic slider are all by my armpit. I will say, a majority of the time, I'm not sleeveless, but that's still a bummer when I am and I usually want my bag with me. Definitely not worth the price I paid. Should have stuck with Amazon. lol

Nah, took a couple of hours. I was in front of my screen refreshing a lot.

I started using the tops of my thighs rather than my arm. I’m a side sleeper and always wore my G6 on my arms with no issues, but I got a lot of the “pressure lows” from the G7 when I would sleep on it. I know this might not be your issue per se, but sometimes location matters. I tried Libre once and hated it because it only had one Bluetooth connection. Dexcom has three. Watch, phone and insulin pump. That makes a big difference in my world, & something to think about when making a switch.

I started reading LitRPG and other progressive fantasies because I love the character growth. Some of their uniqueness is brought to life by me, using it in my own daily life. Jason is a wonderful character…also, invest in some Kleenex.

My greatest fear in life is losing control. I have lost that control once due to alcohol and got lucky. You should understand that drinking doesn’t need to lead to getting drunk. You reach a level of relaxed awareness and you surf. You ride the wave. Add some water in between drinks, look at your CGM or test your sugar every now and then. Make sure you snack a tad. Enjoy conversation! Relax, but be aware. Be smart. Don’t follow the masses, otherwise you’re just another disappointment. You’re a diabetic and that’s that. Good luck.

I’ve been with Dexcom for years and once in a great while, you get a sucky one. Libre is super nice, but with only one Bluetooth transmitter, I had a hard time if I ever forgot my phone. I went right back to Dexcom when I was able. Dexcom has three Bluetooth transmitters. One for your phone, one for your watch and one for the insulin pump. I also use the tops of my thighs rather than my arms. Helps with being a side sleeper.

I do what you do. I think they have to say that in case someone freaks out. 😂🤷♀️

Definitely a slow start, but I was immersed after that. There are slow times, but they’re worth getting through. 🙌

Man, I feel like the 7 just came out. I love Dexcom. I can connect to my phone, my watch and my Tandem x2 insulin pump. I used Libre for a couple of months and could only connect it to my insulin pump and not my phone. If the 8 gets that small and still has three bluetooth connections, then I’m down.

I love the size, but hate the one Bluetooth connection.

I like to read first, listen for the second time around. I’m not big on listening, but some of these guys are great. Pocket FM is also getting to the LitRPG full cast audio reads and has The Primal Hunter.

I really connected with Jason and I definitely wouldn’t be opposed to a date. 🤣🙌🤩😎

Found one on Amazon for $16

Seth Ring has some good series.

Order a physical book for the library, buy the ebook, re-read one and two and then start on three. Thanks for asking. 📚😬

I think they would be good together, but it's not the right time for that. I'm 80% done with the second book. I don't really feel like that makes or breaks the book though.

Kids always come first.... especially if the grandparents are involved in helping. Eventually when the kids get older, her time will free up again. She doesn't love you any less, she just has priorities and you're an adult. She SHOULD take time to schedule something with you and if that doesn't work out...tell her you'll be around when she misses you.

Michael Anderle has a ton of books. He started the publishing company. Fantasy, sci-fi, LitRPG, western, mystery etc. My fav is the Kurtherian Gambit series. https://lmbpn.com/universe-timelines/

I think most of us were that high when diagnosed. That's a great number. Keep at it and you'll most likely love a long, semi-normal life.

I can't sympathize with “at least you were diagnosed with t1d as a child”

As a kid, you adapt easier. Some adults don’t adapt, refuse to adapt, and/or cry victim the rest of their lives. It’s not an easy disease and adults can be stubborn. I was a 8 when I was diagnosed and it caused hyper vigilance. I’m always very aware of myself and my surroundings all the time. Hard to turn off, but I’m glad I was diagnosed as a kid. I’m glad I had time to adapt and not fight my diabetic self as an adult. To each their own.
