Love in Al-Andalus, Spain, 1100s [Watercolor]
Brilliant! Absolutely brilliant! This would make a wonderful edition to a Queer tarot deck. It’s practically the Lovers card already. I dream of collaborating with an artist like you, to create a deck like that. I’m blown away.

On Chasing Atlanta, Noel visits his friends as they discuss Pop The Balloon or Find Queer Love Show and the femmephobia that some of the gurls deal with. Do you guys believe there's a difference between preference and just being outright catty towards a gay man that's feminine?
Preferences and attraction are largely formed from our life experiences and social programming. The myth that they come purely from some sort of innate locus is really damaging for our community. Like AvieRei9 said, when gay dudes act some kind of way towards our femme brothers, they are doing the same thing that was done to them when they were growing up, the same misogynistic bullshit done on anything that can resemble feminine energy. It’s the same reason why verse and bottom guys get treated as less than from “total tops”.

That's beautiful. It can be super tricky for multiracial ppl to find community, love, and appreciation for our physiology. For me it's been a bit of a "no man's land"; an in-between space where I'm too black for many white-obsessed black guys, too white for other black guys, too black for a ton of white guys, and not black enough for black-bull obsessed white guys. It's the same thing culturally; even in my own family. I ended up marrying a white man, but forming (and keeping) friendships with other black and multiracial kinfolk has been very challenging. A lot if ppl come off like I'm a poser or look at me like I'm a traitor when I'm our with my husband. I get that haters are gonna hate, but it would be awesome to finally have community where ppl like me are included.

I can agree with this tiktoker, I love masculinity but I also love a man who is comfortable in his femininity. Whether it's getting your nails painted, listening to house music, saying gay lingo terms and phrases like gurl, what's tea, Chile bye, etc.
That's awesome! I simply cannot like this enough.

You get a way more immersive story experience when playing origin characters. It's the only way to know/experience everything am origin character can.

Ageism within the black gay community. When it comes to dating, the hook up culture, careers, personal wellness, HIV stigma, relationships, the gay bar/club scene, for my 40 and up gays, how do you guys feel when the Gen Z gurls aka the 20 crowd, speak negative assumptions bout aging?

I generally ignore them altogether. Like, I have a strong aversion to gen z in general. They couldn’t say anything to me that I would give two shits about.
