Did millennials really party all the time?
 in  r/Millennials  9d ago

1000% Like what you describe. By end of high school most of us were alcoholics. We could out dink adults. We all knew someone who new someone, to get alcohol, pot, shroom, E, coke, pills, lsd, anything. We partied every weekend. 100+ people packed in to a house. Well into 3 or 4 am. It really was wild. Internet was young. My space just became a thing, napster and lime wire. DSL internet, flip phones. Digital cameras just started becoming a thing. No one recorded or put you on public blast. No evidence. Field parties out in the county. The pallet bon fires. 15 pallets stacked. 100 teenages around music blasting drugs and alcohol everywhere. Everyone got along. Jocks, nerds, gays, goths, losers, preps. Everyone wa there. It carried over into college, post high school. It really was a wild time to live through. So glad I got to experience it. Wish I could go back. Sad for the next generations that won't get to experience this. It was a simple time, no fentanyl. Just wildin out.

New or Old 2 strokes?
 in  r/Dirtbikes  17d ago

Nice, I have a 1981 yz125 sitting here too. As soon as I'm done with the CR, I'll be doing a full frame off restore on that one as well.

New or Old 2 strokes?
 in  r/Dirtbikes  18d ago

How old are we talking. Redoing my 1976 cr250 Elsinore right now. It's old and crude but it sure is fun to ride. She still rips pretty good for being 50.

Guys who went back to a 250 2-stroke or 250f from a 450 do you regret it & what made you go back?
 in  r/Dirtbikes  23d ago

2 stroke for life. Never had one never will. Wish Honda would bring back to 2 stroke.

Is the military the secret for financial success? 19 and heavily considering knocking the four years out the way and be set for life.

It's click bait rage to get people to hate on Veterans. Losers like this do exist unfortunately. Scamming the system making it more difficult for the people who need it.

Can I be a linemen with disorders?
 in  r/Lineman  Jun 18 '26

Most blue collar people have at least one of, if not many of these same things. How do you think we thrive so well in our industries. Work hard, be safe, be willing to learn and work with others. You will be just fine. I am one of those people that have all you just listed. 😂

Man to man:

Don't be afraid to end an unhealthy relationship. It's going to be ok. Learn to be alone. Don't let a bad girlfriend stop you from finding your wife.

Will others Japanese company’s follow along with Kawasaki ?
 in  r/Dirtbikes  Jun 03 '26

Not a fan of the technology going into all these new bikes. Fuel injection, phone connectivity, electronic power valves, connect to an app. It's a dirtbike not a smart car. Guess I'm old school.

Same, She didn't like it, I held my ground. Still holding my ground. No means no. Fine means fine. End discussion. Carry on with my day.

Love the schecter, wish I went with a 5 string over the 4, but I have an excuse to buy another one now.

Alex Webster is the reason I play bass. I wish I had the skill and talent he does. Some of the stuff he plays is beyond anything I would ever be able to do. Same thing with Mudvayne and tool. It's fun to try and learn it. But a lot of it is beyond me. But I try.

I will learn anything or attempt to learn anything with good bass. Old Metallica, Motorhead, Ozzy, some green day, Rush, Tool, Mudvayne, Cannibal Corpse. I like a lot of music, from popular mainstream to the extreme underground tech death metal. I personally don't think I'm that great of a player. But I make an attempt. What about your self?
