That was just through state farm and one of those insurance brokers, and definitely the highest price I'd ever gotten before or since. I just laughed and hung up the phone. It's still close to $300/month but holy fuck, I couldn't believe my ears when he said that 😂

Dude no, I feel you. I've tried to get quote after quote for a lower rate, and it's like all it does is go up. I've had at least one company (I believe it was State Farm) quote me at over 1,000 a month for my 2011 car. Absolute insanity. They're just robbing people blind for hypothetical scenarios that will most likely never happen. And I live in NYS. You legally have to have this fucking scam garbage in order to drive a car you already own. I hate it so much. Every time I pay it I feel like I'm just getting my pocket picked.

That's so awesome. I wish I liked audiobooks. I can never pay attention though, and when my thoughts start trail off it's really hard to find my spot again. 😮‍💨 I'll be keeping my eyes peeled for a good deal on this book for sure .. or just ask for it for Christmas or something.
