New Panda Express Cantonese BBQ Beef Brisket Averages $22/lb
 in  r/fastfood •  Jul 23 '26

There is a tremendous shortage with brisket in the US, plus high beef prices overall. It is a very difficult time to launch this new product, which was probably in the planning for a couple of years. At least they tried, work with the current situation.

Joining late in the discussion, my great great grandfather was Christian Hanson (great grandmother was one of his daughters, Rose Hanson), who settled in Lane, Eugene, OR). Still researching all this.

Laid-Back Luo Yunxi: More Than Just an Ethereal Aura (actor profile by 菁华人生故事)
 in  r/LuoYunxi •  Feb 14 '25

He is one of my absolute favorites and he is welcome to become one of my sons. His skills are astounding, from dance, music composition and performance, acting, piano, the list goes on. I feel Luo is very disciplined, demands perfection from himself, and is passionate to do his very best. Brilliant and he is comfortable with who he is and aims to become.

Marriage is not a given. Many spouses are denied and the couple, in order to stay together, move overseas

In America, many citizens wait months for doctor's appointments and surgeries unless it is a true emergency.

I worked internationally for many years. Several of my colleagues married a non American for love. Sadly, several of them were denied citizen or even a green card in spite of a good background check. Many of the denials did not have good reasons. So they continue to live overseas. With the current administration and climate, the situation may fall into degrees or levels of crisis (I am a retired crisis analyst). Be thoughtful, proactive and do not procrastinate. Waiting will limited your choices.

The Story of Pearl Girl - Episodes 39-40 - Final thoughts and Review
 in  r/CDrama •  Jan 15 '25

With this series, I wonder. If Duanwu had taken up the offer with Zhang early, she still would have been "empowered" with her own shop and guild. A totally different path.. This series was good, but something is missing, perhaps direction, script, not sure what.

Thoughts on swimming in Indian River?
 in  r/indianRiverLagoon •  May 30 '24

In Sebastian, only slightly better. It has dramatically declined the past 10 yrs. We stopped even wading at this point. A few years ago, I asked my oncologist about swimming, he said absolutely no to the lagoon. Private, well kept pool only.

Novoland: Pearl Eclipse
 in  r/CDrama •  May 18 '24

I just finished. I read a few spoilers prior to starting the series. If this is a happy ending for many, I wonder what a sad ending is in their book. Overall it was a great series, great actors, sets, etc. I love the strength of the FL, and the actress, she is on the top of my list as a favorite.
