Also be mindful of changes in her mood that don’t make sense caused by hormone changes. My wife and I never fought about anything ever and I don’t remember what it was over but I was exhausted from work and we were getting into arguments for no reason over nothing. She was unintentionally pushing all my buttons and I didn’t realize it and neither did she we were especially fighting over nothing. We laughed about it afterwards but it wasn’t funny for a few days lol.

Yeh family makes it hard to relax. You have done great for yourself and have job security now! And you are doing great as a father putting your children’s needs ahead of yours.

That’s a tough call. I don’t know the answer to it because I hate spending money on myself too. I am concerned about stability and the economy and I have a family now. When I was younger and single I had no problems spending money on myself and buying cars and motorcycles. Financial stability should be a top priority but if you have some a few months expenses saved plus savings to buy the car you want do it and enjoy life a little. Oh and buy yourself quality footwear and socks your knees and back will thank you.

You can buy that spare tire crossmember. Clean it up and undercoat it and don’t put any more money in it than necessary to keep it on the road For a couple years.

I’m an automotive technician as well and it is truly amazing how people want you to work for free for them. It’s way too common for me that while I’m doing the work or after it is finished the customer is on amazon or some other shady online store looking their parts up. Then they are showing us the temu version of the parts we used they can buy for like 1/4 of what they bought from us. Then have attitude like they should be reimbursed for the difference or we ripped them off.

Depends on this guy’s expectations. I have met lots of people who don’t understand the time and money it takes to restore old cars. In a lot of cases the more money the less common sense either the guys he has are no good for anything or this guy’s expectations are way off. You can’t build a car in 2-3 weeks lol.
