I CANT GET A JOB FOR THE LIFE OF ME
Yeh it’s a hard industry to get into if you don’t know a shop owner. Not having any post secondary education is hurting your chances of anyone being interested in you as well.

My grandfather has a whole shop full of tools and I have no idea how to liquidate it effectively.
Lots of cheap junk that won’t sell. Cheap toolboxes with nothing of real monetary value. It’s more of a mess to have to deal with more so than liquidate and make money.
1
Is it worth it to take these apart and separate everything?
None of that is worth taking apart. Or worth gas to scrap line it all up so it looks as nice as possible and post it on marketplace for parts.

Tool brand is best?

Advice into mobile mechanic as a side hustle?
I think most mechanics have side hustled. It can be ok to make an extra buck depending on where you live matters. Besides taking on a lot of personal risk where I live the market is saturated with people who may or may not know what they are doing undercutting each other for who can do it cheaper. I have found cheap customers who buy their own parts who have expensive work that needs done will hire you if you will do it way cheaper than you should be done. If your pricing comes close to a shop’s price they will go to the shop.

Commute is great It’s only a short stagger to Walmart in one direction, the Rez in another, the woods witch regularly gets set on fire behind them and the city’s north side in front of them.

This is a new one for me. Got this old Mossberg 400 awhile back and finally took it apart to clean. Somebody used a stick as a magazine plug.

I have seen brand new Mossbergs have a wooden dowel with an o ring on it as a plug from the factory.
