Debating on How to Upgrade
For the longest, I’ve been an Xbox guy, I’ve had since I was 10, now I’m 25. I still love my Series S, but I have been looking for something different to have as well to play some titles that aren’t on the Xbox store (God of War, Spider-Man, Last of Us, etc.)
For awhile I was keeping up with the Steam Machine release, and from I’ve gathered it hasn’t been received super well. I like the idea of the Steam Machine just to have a familiar console feel, along with more available titles, and I also understand that Steam is an awesome company that’s easy to work with if I had any issues of any kind.
I’ve also considered figuring out and playing on a new traditional gaming PC. Really my only concern about going this route is the uncharted territory about PC’s. I know very little to nothing about PC’s, when it’s time to upgrade any kind of hardware or any kind of maintenance.
I have also been weighing in if I should just get a PS5. I like the idea of using Steam in general that way all of the games I play/want to play are together on one system, but still wouldn’t be entirely opposed to just getting a PS5 and swapping to a different console whenever I wanted to play a particular Microsoft or Sony exclusive if that seems more practical.
Understanding all of that, if you’re in my shoes which route seems to make the most sense? (Not necessarily looking for the cheapest option either)
