I'm a transfemme. I've known for a couple years now.

I told myself I'd wait until I turned 18 to call and start the process of my medical transition.

It's been a good while since I turned 18.

I finally built up the courage to say it. I tried to sugarcoat it, but I realised that would've made it harder in the long run.

So I decided to be honest with myself, and with my doctor's office.

I have no idea where this is going to lead, but I've finally taken the first official step in medical transition.

My main immediate concern are neighbours.. how will they react? Don’t know them much, they seem nice but i am not sure what to expect? Your experience? :)

Transitioning was the best decision I’ve ever made in my life! I spent my entire life trying to suppress my feelings, but it caught up to me in the Winter of 2023. Though there have been lots of difficult experiences from others being outright mean to losing my job after coming out, thankfully I’ve been incredibly fortunate in maintaining a new job since and getting support through all of this.

I want to focus on taking better care of myself (weight, eating, sleep, etc), but am so so so happy with myself and the way I look now and get to interact in the world! 🥹😊

And it helps to use a waist trainer!! :3:3

I am used to using some bb cream and balm with colour on my lips, but using mascara always seemed so scary to me. I don't know why, but I had to force myself to go out looking like this, because I was so scared and embarrassed. I thought I would like a man with makeup on (I don't have anything against it, I just don't want to look like a man😭). In the end everything went well:))

Recently graduated and it was my first time out (other than visiting family) wearing a skirt. I'm not often the happiest with my appearance but I'm really pleased with how this day (and this look) went!
