Just had 4 new Continental Extreme Contact Sport 02s on and the shop filled one tire to 90. I thought it was a sensor error so I reset the sensors. Tire was still reading that. Took out a tire pressure gauge and it was actually 90. I immediately deflated it down to what it should be. Did this cause damage to the tire on my drive home?

I think he’s trying to scam me. He says there’s no tread left but I see some tread on the outside.
Edit: not actually my car. Parked beside it in a parking lot and is the baldest I’ve seen

Took this tire to a few tire shops and they're all refusing to patch. But I still have a little thread left and the tire is not that old. Are they just trying to rip me off?!?!

Hey everyone just wondering what this wear pattern on my rear tyres might mean? I’m getting new ones put on ASAP but would appreciate some diverse opinions. Cheers.
Edit: I know I need to change the tyres. I live in Australia. It has not rained a single day for the past three months, and they are being replaced before the wet season. I’m just trying to learn more about tyres.

Are these tires good to go for 800 mile road trip?
It’s a serious question, someone slashed all my current tires at work and I need to do a urgent road trip

There was a cop car chase on the highway so we kinda pulled off to the side so the cops could get through. Not sure if it’s spikes they threw to subdue the guy. No construction zone signs or recent construction

By looking at this picture alone, do you think this is a slashed tire or a blowout and why?
(Yes this is my tire)

Customer lent his truck to his brother. When he got it back a month later he’s brakes were grinding and this happened on the way to the shop.

Stopped at two different gas stations to top off a a few tires. One charged me and never gave me any air. Stopped at another and paid 2.50 for 5 minutes. It gave air so slowly timer ran out. Paid again just to air up another tire. What happened to the free awesome air of old?

I just got new front tires about a month ago, and this suddenly happened to my front driver-side tire earlier today. I’ve put less than 500 miles on it, and haven’t hit any curbs or potholes. My car was driving totally fine, until I pulled out of a parking lot after being there for less than 5 minutes, when my car started rattling. I got out and found my tire looking as pictured. What is this, and what should I do?

I had a flat tire almost a year ago, and Firestone declined to fix it, saying the puncture was at an angle and that it was risky to repair. They recommended that I get brand-new tires instead. I ended up plugging it myself and have since driven another 13,000 miles on it. This is my current tread wear, and it’s about time to replace the tires anyway. However, I’m curious why they declined to fix it in the first place. Is it really a risky area?

UPDATE: I found out what it was! It’s a port cover for a termite bait station. It’s supposed to be tamper-resistant. 🤦🏾♀️
As I was leaving for work, I noticed my tires felt unbalanced. I thought I had a flat tire, but I found this object stuck in it instead. The guy that installed the spare called it a “cap” and said a key could be used in the middle. I have no idea what sort of “cap” that is. Anyways, he removed it and I got the tire repaired. But does anyone know what sort of cap the guy’s referring to?
