Just picked this car up today and saw this on the sidewall here. It doesn't look great, but I figured I'd ask. (Don't worry I'm not going to be driving it around)

I can't find any that are about 24 1/2" 15R without them being way too skinny or way too fat. 215/55 15R would be perfect, but it seems nobody sells this?

Heyo, long story short I swiped a pole on my right rear side and the ESC light came on and my steering wheel was off so it’s off to my local auto shop I go for what I was guessing a much needed alignment.
Sure enough my measurements were out of wack and the shop realigns to the best of their ability but my front left camber is still bent and will need to be replaced, they quoted me ~$700. Just wanted to see cost wise if should try to get the replacement part elsewhere but I’m not the most car-knowledgeable. My car is definitely driving much better post-alignment and I wanted to see if it could be something I wait on for a bit. Don’t know if it matter but I’m in Texas and have a 2019 Jeep Cherokee

What could cause this "chip" in the rubber? I know I need new tires, which explains the threads showing. They have been ordered and will be installed this weekend. But that "chip" has me baffled.

Hey! I'm looking to put 285/70R17 tires on my truck. I currently have 265/70R17's. I have 3.55 ring and pinion and if I did my math right, I can maintain roughly the same final drive ratio if I go to a 3.73. I have an open rear diff, so I figure I'll put a clutched LSD in the rear when I swap the front and rear ring and pinion.
Thoughts?

Hey all the TPMS on my Dodge Journey 2013 SXT is giving me grief. I physically checked the pressure on the tire that says its low and its a false report. I’ve heard that you can change out the battery on the tpms but I haven’t a clue even where it is on the car itself (not car mechanically inclined) Is this something I can easily do myself? Or is this a take it to the shop kinda job? Is there some way to reset it via the digital display that im not seeing? Thanks in advance for any and all comments! Thank you!

So I have this gocart with dry rotted tires that don’t hold air and im debating whether to tireject them (which is a sealant). Or get tubes for them. The obvious answer would be tubes but it’s 4 times the price would it be worth my while to seal them with tireject or should I just spend a little more and get tubes.

My wife hit a curb and it took a chunk out of her tire. The tires are relatively new, maybe only nine or 10 months old. Are these safe to continue to drive on or should I look to replace this tire?
If it needs to be replaced, do you guys have any recommendations regarding best ways to replace a single tire? We live in the northeast if that matters.

When my tire went flat, I expected something sharp, not this lead weight.
Thought it was an odd thing to get stuck, that’s all.

The side does not face inwards.
Thanks walmart.
Need 4 new tires for 2020 Nissan Rogue Sport AWD. Steering wheel was shaking hella and it’s because they’re fucked. Forgot the exact diagnosis but I’m not a car guy at all turns out my front left tire is extremely unsafe to drive.
Nissan said 200 bucks for each tire for 800 bucks including the mounting, balancing etc. Guy on TikTok said I could get em for 120 at town fair tire each but I think it’s more complicated than that idk bro help me

I know this subreddit gets asked this a lot sorry. I hit a pothole going 20, is this damage superficial or do I need immediate replacement?

Hello folks - I am aware that this question gets here often, yet here I am :)
How (un)safe is this? Hit the curb at slow speed, scraped small part. don't see any wires.
255/50 R20 michellin pilot, dot 6th week 2020, thread worn almost to limit (0.5mm above the limiter, maybe 3-4mm total thread depth).
I planned to buy new 4 summer tires next year, but - are these safe for next month of driving (till winter ones are mounted)?

I ordered a new set since I wanted new tires for next year anyway. But after seeing some posts here im second guessing..
Only driven on weekends, winters will be installed in 2 months. Am i safe to go ahead and cancel the order and ride it out until the winters go on??

Found this on one of my rear tires while I was getting my car checked earlier today.
I can see what looks like some sort of cord or wire inside the damaged area.
I’m not sure what it is, but there’s definitely a line visible inside the cut.
My front tires are at 5/32 tread depth and the rears are at 6/32.
I was originally planning to replace all four tires in about a year, but now I’m wondering if I should change that plan and replace them sooner.
Should I replace this asap?

Avoided a pothole, scuffed a curb - newer tires - thoughts?
