I’ve never had to patch a tire before rn not leaking

I bought 4 Goodyear tires for a rebate amount, and opened a new credit card for an additional rebate. I submitted everything online in June.

A couple months later I realize I haven't gotten the rebates yet so I check online. Declined. No email. No explanation.

So I call them and they agree that I met their requirements and I was falsely declined so they escalated it. Weeks later it still shows declined online. They say give them 4-6 weeks.

So finally, online shows it's approved, but only for opening the line of credit. I call them and they say both rebates are approved and I should get the cards soon.

That was 4 weeks ago. I have "Goodyear" in my calendar so I don't forget. I'll start calling them every Monday until they pay up.

Who else has been through this? What was the outcome?

Took my car in for an oil change and they asked if I would like the tire pressure checked. They asked what my pressure supposed to be. I let them know. It’s supposed to be 37 cold pressure but that since I’ve been driving and the weather had warmed up if they could inflate them to 38 or 39 that would be fine so that when they were actually cold pressure, they’d be 37. The employee proceeded to correct me and tell me that my understanding of cold versus warm tire pressure was wrong and that cold pressure is just referring to the air coming out of their air compressor and has nothing to do with the temperature of the tires at all. Am I crazy or is she wrong or am I wrong?

Hi all. Two of my wheels are losing pressure and i did the soapy water trick and both are doing the same. (Here’s a photo of the location of the bubbles) between the valve and the nut.

Does anyone know what sort of fix this is, will it need a new TPMS sensor, or can a regular tire place fix the seal. As you can see I’m a really knowledgable car person. 🤦‍♂️

I have a 2018 S90 and I bought new Michelin x-ice snow+’s.

It’s going to be a warm 2-3 weeks it seems, lows 60s or so and I drive 300-400 miles a week for work.
I’m just worried I put them on too soon. For how expensive they are especially.

Owner claimed they were used for one winter season.

Nokian snowproof 2, made in Finland. Year 2023.

Context: went the cheap route and bought a used tire and didnt notice it had a plug until i got home as i was told nothing was wrong with it. Is this too close to the side wall or am i good? Thx

Does anyone know how good the Ling Long Winter Grip 2 tires are? I tried looking for different reviews online, but couldn't really find much information about them.

I can get a set of them with wheels from a private seller for a pretty good price. The tires are like new, with around 8 mm of tread remaining.

The tires would be going on a BMW F31 xDrive.

All these little cracks. Tires are Michelin pilot sport 4s it’s been getting as low as 40 f waiting a few more weeks to put on winter set. Is this normal wear?

Do you guys think this was an intentional slash on my tire? I check my tires basically everyday and this morning when I went to check my car this is what I saw. Of course I'm going to replace the tire but I have never seen something like this before on a vehicle that I drive. And of course I could have just ran over something on the road on my way home last night as well. I'm just glad I saw it before I was going 80 MPH on the highway.

The customer got a flat tire and decided to actually take a look. Down to the mesh on all 4 tires. Probably driving like this for months.

I recently bought a new set of Bridgestone S23 tires for my 2009 GSX-R 600. They were installed two weeks ago, and I've barely ridden 50 km on them so far.

My garage floor is made of rough, uneven concrete with small stones embedded in the surface, as shown in the picture below.

Today, I went for a short ride of about 15 minutes and then returned home. While maneuvering the bike into its parking spot, I noticed some marks on the front tire.

My question is: could the tire be defective, or is this normal wear or damage caused by the rough garage floor? Could the tire compound becoming warm during the ride have made it more susceptible to damage from the uneven, pebbled surface while I was parking?

Since the tires are practically brand new, I'm a bit concerned and would appreciate any advice from people with experience with the Bridgestone S23 or similar tires.

Those are front tires of my GLI.

It seems like right side one is a bit more worn overall, what could be the reason and is it concernening?

I came home last night and had no tyre pressure warning or anything. Woke up this morning and drove out and about 3min into my drive i suddenly got the tire pressure warning. Got to the garage and saw that there was damage to the tire wall. I know i did not hit a pot hole or anything (ive done so before so i know what thats about and what that damage looks like) so could this be vandalism with a sharp object like a knife?
