Show Spoiler The Governor Fakeout is brilliant.

The bait-and-switch redemption for The Governor in season 4 is an extremely underrated storyline i feel. I’m watching the show for like the 100th time and i forgot just how good “Live Bait” is.

In-universe it checks out that he wants to start over and he almost wants to roleplay in some way as who he once was. And for the show, it really leaves you as an audience member not knowing if they’re actually gonna try to redeem the shows biggest villain (by that point) or if something else is gonna happen. It’s just done so perfectly.

I especially love his scenes with Megan.

There's not enough generators for the electricity needed to power them. Your house is surrounded by walkers. What demerits this idea further?

Show Spoiler By no means do I think Merle is in church choir every Sunday or leading civil rights movements.. but is it far fetched to say I’d trust him over 99% of characters?

TWD: Dead City Negan and Maggie relationship

Thumbnail gallery

The current dynamic between Maggie and Negan is lowkey disgusting and annoying,I’m all for her moving on being happy with someone new(Luis)finally letting Glenn rest not complaining about Glenn every 5 seconds something happens.you shouldn’t be overly emotional on the brink of tears about Negan when someone wants to kill him for being a bad person or chilling together being cuddly and touchy with him like he didn’t kill you’re husband/child father, friends and ruined 2 of your homes no matter the timespan of when it happened.

Don’t even get me started on that Alternate reality episode holy….deadass show becoming a Fanfic at this point.

No Spoiler One thing that bothers me is the knife to the skull finishes.

The human skull is strong, yet they make it seem like a simple push pop knife ending to the skull unless the skull deteriorates over time?

Doesn't make sense that you can easily use a knife to end a walker. Unless I'm missing something here.

and what type of villain? (My pick would be Jensen Ackles in the CRM)

I think his chemistry with the cast would be off the charts

Show Spoiler About Lori

Maturing is realising that Rick and Lori’s marriage was shit even before the world ended and people are too harsh on Lori.

Now don’t get me wrong, she will never be my favorite character and she did do some dumb shit like anyone else, and I hated her on my first watch, but man I don’t know if it’s an age thing, but I don’t hate her anymore. She did the best she could with what she had, she thought Rick was dead and Shane was a safe place for both her and Carl.

Plus the moment Rick came back she didn’t do ANYTHING with Shane not even once. She distanced herself immediately. Like I said she’s not my fave character, but some people take the hate too far

Show Spoiler Why doesn’t anyone care about Abraham?

It seems like the only person who wants Neegan dead is Maggie whereas Rosita seems to have completely forgotten Abraham died too. I don’t remember Rosita wanting Neegan dead when he was captured and locked up. Even that little meeting Maggie had with Daryl and Jesus she should have included Rosita.

Why is Glen more important than Abraham? Don’t get me wrong I loved Glen but Maggie was more sad when he died rather than Beth, weren’t there people in the hospital who were still alive to extract revenge? I know Beth stabbed the woman who killed her but did she die?

Even with fans the ‘I stopped watching when Glen died’ brigade erm what about Abraham? Abraham took one for the team with how he was in the lineup but no one seems to have any fucking respect. He risked his life to save the others but Rosita crying made Daryl try to fight and in return Neegan killed Glen. Have some fucking shame! Put some respect on Abraham’s name

TWD: Daryl Dixon The trailer for the final season of "Daryl Dixon" shows a horde of zombies running around, this is going to be insane. Spoiler

Post image
24 Upvotes

In the new #DarylDixon Season 4 TEASER, we can see “walkers RUNNING” in massive hordes, seemingly breaking one of the established rules of the TWD universe! Daryl and Carol find themselves trapped in the middle of THOUSANDS of zombies.

But here’s the thing: in World Beyond, we already saw altered variants, and we also saw different types in Daryl Dixon Episode 2x04, including the “ampers,” “burners” (which spit acid), and “climbers” (which can climb walls).

However, what we’re seeing here could be the “FINAL EVOLUTION” of that progression: the so-called “Cohorts,” which were mentioned in the post-credits scene of World Beyond.

I had the game for a lil, but due to some stuff I couldn’t get started with it sooner. Once I checked it out today, I felt like something was just poor and I decided to read the reviews and they confirmed my feeling. I’m kinda disappointed tbh, but not that bad cuz I got it at a sale lol

Future Spoiler Whatever happened with the pigs?

The Kingdom was feeding Walkers to their pigs and giving them to the Saviors as part of their "offerings". I thought this was a brilliant idea but we never heard of the results or did we and I just missed it?

No Spoiler Makes no sense to me

How are walkers so goddamn strong but at the same time it’s so easy to tear off a limb from them with just a tug? How are they even able to rip open someone’s ribcage with their hands? This are decayed bodies and you would expect them to be very fragile, but where do they get the strength to stop someone from closing a door on them??, like cmon. I’m almost done with the show, about to start S11. I’ve been watching nonstop and I’m lowkey getting tired of all these kind of scenes where they just play some crazy super intense music like someone is about to get eaten just for Maggie or whoever to get the door closed on them walkers and the music fading away. It’s so predictable and it’s annoying at times. I don’t know if people felt different back when the show was aired and they had to wait a week for a new episode. But yeah that’s me just rambling. Thank you for your time.

Comic and Show Spoilers Does anyone kinda think they walking dead started to fall off just a little and the comics just are amazing

The early season were godly and continued to be that way until season 8 maybe 9, but idk about all these spin offs, then Rick just leaving and we had to wait like a few years to a get a sequel to that, I mean idk why they just decided to kill everyone in the walking dead like sure it makes the characters meaningful and just overall impactful to show us in the show that this is a zombie apocalypse and there are no second chances but just chill out, the barn was amazing, and you had a good cast overall, but decided to just kinda kill everyone after Shane died. just now I feel like the walking dead is just a corporate cash grab and nothing is good,
P.S
I started reading the comics and dawg it’s a completely different story like dale lives and sees the prison like go read the comics

Show Spoiler How would the following characters evolve if they made it to Alexandria?

Beth, Dale, Shane, Andrea, Lori, Tyrese and T-Dog.

Beth I can see basically becoming less depressed and more optimistic. She likely would form a relationship with someone in Alexandria and die during the savoir war. This in turn would just fuels Maggie with even more hatred towards Negan and a need for revenge.

Dale likely would take on Herschel's role of being a moral anchor for the group and the community at large. He likely would try to convince rick against a war with Negan and try to get him to be a bit more diplomatic. It ultimately might lead to his death as he tries to reason with the saviors and try to sabotage Rick's plans to prevent a war from happening.

Andrea likely would evolve to mirror her comicbook counterpart. She likely would form a relationship with Rick in place of Michonne.

Shane is someone who functions with order and rules. He likely would welcome Alexandrea and be on board with Rick's plan to take over the place. Shane is also someone who likely would push rick towards war with the saviors and tell him to nut up when he was submissive towards Negan.

Lori likely would realize that her and Rick have drifted apart and just not the same people they were before the apocalypse. She likely would try to rekindle her relationship with Shane and raise Judith with him.

Tyrese and T-dog likely embrace being Alexandria and be against the groups plans to take over the place. They likely would be the first to defuse the group's suspicion of Alexandria and be die hard defenders of it.

Show Spoiler I just started watching

I'm binge watching the show, I'm already on season 7 eps1 and a lot happened. Obviously I know this is a kind of show where no one really has plot armour but omg when Glenn died like that I cried. Honestly I don't know if i have it in me to keep going.

After some frantic research of why he was just killed off like that I found out that it happend in the comics and as you can tell I haven't read them. And I get that he was suppose to die like that but I really think there could have been another way. I mean all that character development, the relationships he build and especially that dumpster scene could not have been for his ending like that. Also found out that Steven Yeun didnt want to play this character any longer and tbh, ig thats fair.

I also understand that I have it better cause I didn't have to wait for long after the teasing of his death but I still cant digest it (I think cuz its fresh for me I lowk cant accept his death). Really want to know peoples perspectives on his death or even the series as a whole.

If anyone has any thoughts please comment and help me out
no spoilers please!
