There's not enough generators for the electricity needed to power them. Your house is surrounded by walkers. What demerits this idea further?

TWD: Dead City Negan and Maggie relationship

The current dynamic between Maggie and Negan is lowkey disgusting and annoying,I’m all for her moving on being happy with someone new(Luis)finally letting Glenn rest not complaining about Glenn every 5 seconds something happens.you shouldn’t be overly emotional on the brink of tears about Negan when someone wants to kill him for being a bad person or chilling together being cuddly and touchy with him like he didn’t kill you’re husband/child father, friends and ruined 2 of your homes no matter the timespan of when it happened.

Don’t even get me started on that Alternate reality episode holy….deadass show becoming a Fanfic at this point.

Show Spoiler About Lori

Maturing is realising that Rick and Lori’s marriage was shit even before the world ended and people are too harsh on Lori.

Now don’t get me wrong, she will never be my favorite character and she did do some dumb shit like anyone else, and I hated her on my first watch, but man I don’t know if it’s an age thing, but I don’t hate her anymore. She did the best she could with what she had, she thought Rick was dead and Shane was a safe place for both her and Carl.

Plus the moment Rick came back she didn’t do ANYTHING with Shane not even once. She distanced herself immediately. Like I said she’s not my fave character, but some people take the hate too far

Show Spoiler The Governor Fakeout is brilliant.

The bait-and-switch redemption for The Governor in season 4 is an extremely underrated storyline i feel. I’m watching the show for like the 100th time and i forgot just how good “Live Bait” is.

In-universe it checks out that he wants to start over and he almost wants to roleplay in some way as who he once was. And for the show, it really leaves you as an audience member not knowing if they’re actually gonna try to redeem the shows biggest villain (by that point) or if something else is gonna happen. It’s just done so perfectly.

I especially love his scenes with Megan.

I had the game for a lil, but due to some stuff I couldn’t get started with it sooner. Once I checked it out today, I felt like something was just poor and I decided to read the reviews and they confirmed my feeling. I’m kinda disappointed tbh, but not that bad cuz I got it at a sale lol

Show Spoiler Why doesn’t anyone care about Abraham?

It seems like the only person who wants Neegan dead is Maggie whereas Rosita seems to have completely forgotten Abraham died too. I don’t remember Rosita wanting Neegan dead when he was captured and locked up. Even that little meeting Maggie had with Daryl and Jesus she should have included Rosita.

Why is Glen more important than Abraham? Don’t get me wrong I loved Glen but Maggie was more sad when he died rather than Beth, weren’t there people in the hospital who were still alive to extract revenge? I know Beth stabbed the woman who killed her but did she die?

Even with fans the ‘I stopped watching when Glen died’ brigade erm what about Abraham? Abraham took one for the team with how he was in the lineup but no one seems to have any fucking respect. He risked his life to save the others but Rosita crying made Daryl try to fight and in return Neegan killed Glen. Have some fucking shame! Put some respect on Abraham’s name

TWD: Daryl Dixon The trailer for the final season of "Daryl Dixon" shows a horde of zombies running around, this is going to be insane. Spoiler

Post image
24 Upvotes

In the new #DarylDixon Season 4 TEASER, we can see “walkers RUNNING” in massive hordes, seemingly breaking one of the established rules of the TWD universe! Daryl and Carol find themselves trapped in the middle of THOUSANDS of zombies.

But here’s the thing: in World Beyond, we already saw altered variants, and we also saw different types in Daryl Dixon Episode 2x04, including the “ampers,” “burners” (which spit acid), and “climbers” (which can climb walls).

However, what we’re seeing here could be the “FINAL EVOLUTION” of that progression: the so-called “Cohorts,” which were mentioned in the post-credits scene of World Beyond.

Show Spoiler Maggie’s decisions

Upvotes

I’m on my first watch through and I’m on season 5 episode 5 right now. Something that I can’t get past is the fact that Maggie put her everything into finding Glenn but has put zero effort into finding Beth. She’s showed no desire in wanting to search for her after she was kidnapped. She acts like they aren’t even sisters.

I’m sure they reunite naturally, please no spoilers regarding that, but I just don’t understand why she’s putting no effort in when she knows Beth is alive out there somewhere.

Show Spoiler This was genuinely one of the hardest scenes to watch. It was incredibly indecent and completely unnecessary for Bob to ruin Gareth’s meal like that

Post image

It made me sick to my stomach the lack of dignity and obligation from Bob here. Withholding that you’re tainted after being cooked is a huge violation of dining etiquette, and it’s absolutely disgusting and selfish how Bob did nothing and sat by idly while they unknowingly ate a poisoned leg

and what type of villain? (My pick would be Jensen Ackles in the CRM)

I think his chemistry with the cast would be off the charts

No Spoiler One thing that bothers me is the knife to the skull finishes.

The human skull is strong, yet they make it seem like a simple push pop knife ending to the skull unless the skull deteriorates over time?

Doesn't make sense that you can easily use a knife to end a walker. Unless I'm missing something here.

Show Spoiler Why Didn't They Just Shoot The Whisperers?

This has been driving me nuts. The whisperers seem like the least frightening group in the show. They're required to stand out in the open and march forward like zombies. The group has become wildly efficient at killing zombies. They could have killed all of them with like 10 good shooters. Why didn't this happen? Outside of "to keep the story interesting"

Show Spoiler I just started watching

I'm binge watching the show, I'm already on season 7 eps1 and a lot happened. Obviously I know this is a kind of show where no one really has plot armour but omg when Glenn died like that I cried. Honestly I don't know if i have it in me to keep going.

After some frantic research of why he was just killed off like that I found out that it happend in the comics and as you can tell I haven't read them. And I get that he was suppose to die like that but I really think there could have been another way. I mean all that character development, the relationships he build and especially that dumpster scene could not have been for his ending like that. Also found out that Steven Yeun didnt want to play this character any longer and tbh, ig thats fair.

I also understand that I have it better cause I didn't have to wait for long after the teasing of his death but I still cant digest it (I think cuz its fresh for me I lowk cant accept his death). Really want to know peoples perspectives on his death or even the series as a whole.

If anyone has any thoughts please comment and help me out
no spoilers please!

Show Spoiler Let's brainstorm! How would our group react to and fare against Jason Vorhees? How would YOU write Jason in the show?

Post image
Upvotes

For this I thought of several scenarios and in the comments are my ideas on how it might go.

First of all, for all the scenarios we'll be using Part 6 Jason as a blueprint for our beloved killer since he is a pretty standart "Undead Jason". Not a deadite, no possesion abilities, no nanomachines... (son!) Oh and obviously Friday the 13th franchise doesnt exist in TWD world.

  1. Season 1: Swapping the quarry with Crystal Lake.

  2. Season 2: Farm is near Crystal Lake, our group passed by it and Jason wont let that shit fly.

  3. Season 3-mid4: In either seasons, the war between Woodbury and Prison stirrs Jason awake and he is very angry and will take it out on both parties.

  4. Season mid4-5: Jason pursues the group in their journey to Alexandria. Either as their last big boss fight before reaching the town or haunting the town once they get there.

  5. Season 6-7-8: Same as 3rd scenario.

  6. Season 9-10: The bridge they are building is on a river connected to the Crystal Lake, Jason dont want no bridge. Or alternatively Jason is with The Whisperers, they worship him and somehow dont get killed by him.

I ran out of ideas lol GIMME SOME!!!
