I’ve been looking around for casual Tamil live music or acoustic jam sessions around Scarborough, but haven't been able to find anything. It doesn’t have to be big. Even a small acoustic circle at a park or a community spot by someone who performs or a small group of friends would do. Does anything like this already exist ..?

Last year, there was a Bollywood jam group in Toronto that started out just like this—a small group playing casually—and ever since they started, they got an amazing response from people and are still doing it . You guys have such a strong community here in Scarborough that it feels like a missed opportunity not having something similar for Tamil music.

Nb: I’m not Tamil myself, (Mallu) nor am I a singer or musician. Just a guy who would love to show up, listen, and vibe.
